May everything turn out well for you. My wife had cancer 2 years ago and did the whole chemo and radiation bit. She really didn't miss a beat thank God.

STAY POSITIVE! Even though it may not seem like a young age...being in your 40's is good thing when it comes to fighting these kind of things.

Xpanda,

I'm really sad to hear this news. But I always like to think Positive when something like this comes Up.

I have a friend who at age 55 went to the Doctor because she was have trouble seeing. and would wake up with Headaches.
She found out that she had 3 Tumors .....and she thought her World was coming to the End. ( which is a Normal reaction )

Test came back as being noncancerous. All went well after she had the Surgery.
This was 6 Years ago and all is fine. She gets a MRI & Ct scan every 6-8 months to make sure everything is alright.

On a Side Note : I've never met you, because I came on the seen around the last year you were a Mod here, and didn't go to that Years Bash.
But I have heard Plenty of nice things about you. And it was said that you are a Strong person.
Like others have said....You Need to Stay Positive ! ( Mind over Matter ) Yes, it Doesn't Work !

I will leave you with this Statement that I have read many times.

Positive thinking is a mental attitude that admits into the mind thoughts, words and images that are conductive to growth, expansion and success. It is a mental attitude that expects good and favorable results. A positive mind anticipates happiness, joy, health and a successful outcome of every situation and action. Whatever the mind expects, it finds.

I will say a prayer for you.
and Please keeps us Up to Date.

Take care
Mike

I remember Tanya cutting the BOS shirt off of me at an RX Bash as a fun thing....more importantly, I remember Tanya caring for her grandmother and going towards some sort of nursing degree.

I remember the good shvt people do here....like Wil and VD with the Orphans, and X and Granny.I might come across as cold, at times....but I remember a lot of stuff too, and X-Tonya -Panda is a nice person. She is a great lady.

There are maybe 3-5 posters across all forums that I'd remember this kind of news about after 15 minutes time passes.

I won't name them but Tanya is one of them...and I'd give blood or something to her, if it was needed.

I work with nurses every day and just by talking with you at the bash tells me you would make an awseome nurse. You have to let me know how school is going. I have talked so many lvn's into going back to get their RN degreee and they thank me all the time. We have to stay in touch.

Xpanda I recommend you read "The Journey" by Brandon Bays. It is similar in a way to the secret. The author goes through how she beat cancer.

If the book helps then I suggest you find a Journey practitioner in your area and go through the whole process. I have done it twice myself and it has helped me. Not with illness, but with things that I was letting hold me back.

Tanya,
Another great read is " Tuesdays with Morrie " . This best selling true story has changed my life in many ways. Google it and you will get the drift of what it's all about. Very inspiring and I remember Morrie every time I feel down and out. Keep your spirits up and I feel all will be OK.

My sister in law had similar problems about 2 years ago and now she is doing fine. On a personal note, i think you will be fine however i can understand your worries. That was the biggest problem my brother had was that she didn't talk positive and it stressed everybody else out. If the doctor said he thinks they are benign then he is probably right. Keep a positive outlook and it will turn out ok.

That sounds like a good book. I'm always trying to improve myself and that sounds like it would have some good ideas.

Speaking of journeys xpanda, I was just looking at some zen sayings. One of my favorites is "the obstacle IS the path". Meaning that sometimes the things we may see as an obstacle in our lives isn't something to be avoided but something to experience as a way to better understanding ourselves.
