You guys are all so right about the attitude. Thankfully, I just watched the movie 'The Secret' about two months ago....it's like someone knew I would face this and I needed to be shown how to manifest positive thinking ahead of time. :) I've mostly been a negative person in my history, but that has been changing ...

I'm being prudent by lining up Power of Attorney and stuff like that (even if benign, brain surgery can leave you a bit wonky for a time) but I don't believe I am staring down death, and I KNOW .... I mean, I KNOW!!! .... that this will make be an even better nurse!

Thank you everyone!

Doctors don't like to be wrong. They always give the WORST case scenario. That is why a lot times they say a patient will live one year, and they end up living a lot longer than that.

If the doctor said they were benign, they probably are. If he didn't know they were benign, he probably would have said nothing. More than likely you will need to have surgery, go through some pain, and be fine.

I go here for all my health problems. There is a lot of great information and support with every health issue. I would post there.

XP, we're sending you blessings and healing vibes from way down here to way up there

I'm sure glad you're a Canadian citizen when confronted with such possibly significant medical challenges. I presume you'll have few obstacles in obtaining whatever's needed.

best regards

Are you sure this is a recent development??? You've been a little bit wonky for quite some time now.

I was serious in my last post. Now I get a chance to make you laugh in this post.

XP - my dad was diagnosed with a brain tumor in 1976. Emergency surgery was required. Here it is 34 yrs later. He is 77 and still tickin'. Just keep the positive thoughts flowing and surround yourself with those who love you.

Hi Xpanda, this is Fishhead posting over at Billsfans home.

Sorry to hear, you have my blessings.

My brother-in-law who is a DR told me a few years ago that 80% of humans have tumors somewhere in their body and the vast, vast majority are basically nothing overly serious...........which is hopefully the case here with you.

Keep the faith,
FH

This is the worst news about any poster I've ever known and met.

Tanya is a great fun person, I'd consider donating my bone marrow ( or whatever ) to her, if it could help....that's how highly I think of her. I can't afford to pay for testing stuff, but I'd donate my body parts if they could help.
