Gotcha. So it's a real play as I thought and had, but NoCoke didn't list it. Odd.

I remember you saying to factor in important variables such as players out or strength of schedule. Thanks for chiming in. Miss seeing your posts

I'm not sure where I went wrong with my numbers if Hawaii is a RD. I had Memphis at -0.79 vs Hawaii at -0.91. Get what you pay for I guess..

Fucking hell, just noticed something isn't right with Hawaii on site I pulled my data from. I agree Hawaii should be a RD now as they are only -0.31. Probably should double check my source..

UTAH

Also: WMU, Mich St, K State, Baylor, Clemson, Miami FL all would have qualified but are no longer dogs.

Anyone know if Central Michigan is still considered a running dog for the new matchup against Wazzu

these have done well this year 6-1 ATS if you include the teams that started as dogs and flipped to faves

These have done really well this year with running dogs going 6-2 this bowl season with teams that flipped from dogs to faves going an additional 4-0 for 10-2 overall.
Kansas State falls under the category of dogs that flipped to favorites

I’m teasing K State down to -1 with SF 49’ers +10.5

Yes, my numbers had CMU as a running dog. Sorry I didn't get a chance to reply last week.

Good call on the dogs who flipped to favorites. Tough to jump on openers in a covid year but it paid off if you did. Also interesting that the RDs who flipped from favorites to dogs didn't do well (Auburn & VT both failed to cover).

OK who has the running dogs for this year?

Always interesting to see who they are and match them against what I come up with independently.

I calculated:

UTSA, BYU, Florida, Liberty, WKU, Air Force, Missouri, Kansas, Wyoming, Tennessee, Iowa, Tulane, Penn State.

BYU, Florida, Liberty, Tennessee, Iowa have QB or coaching issues. Tulane is vs a P5. Would tread carefully on that group.

Duke and Illinois opened as dogs and would have qualified but crossed zero.

you can get the yra dyra for all the teams at teamrankings.com (they only include games played between fbs teams in their stats.
you will have to get strength of schedule somewhere else if you want to use it. I suggest sagarin. I use it with 75 as a base. you will have to do it manually, but only 42 games or so.

UTSA has now flipped to favorite as well.

Nothing against anyone making time and effort to calculate
It has just been my experience that unless Sooners does the calcualtion , there are ALWAYS mistakes...just a heads up.

No Coke is very accurate with the running dogs. I would also add NMST and Wazzu to the list. But the portal is making it more difficult this year. There's a lot of quitters out there. I wouldn't get too far ahead in playing these games until you know who's playing.

GS my friend. Been awhile. Hit ya up on the other side but no response. I guess you’re busy and all. Thanks for the update on the run dogs

I missed the line swings in the Wazzup and NMST games. Good to have a second set of eyes.
