Something worth watching is how the system plays perform when We have to wait a week due to “bye” weeks:

There are 2 such plays coming next week, in week #12.

In week #10 NE lost at TEN by 24 and plays on the road in week #12 (R/R FADE) LOSS
In week #10 MIA lost at GB by 19 and plays on the road in week #12 (R/R FADE) LOSS

Theoretically, having a bye week in between could change things (less so for the “Road / Home Plays”, but more so for the “Road / Road Fades”). The first occurance of the system encountering a bye week delay (TB qualifying for the “R/R” system in week #4, but not playing again until week #6) resulted in a “win” for the system. Was that just a false positive result? We’ll see how the system does with 2 such plays in week #12 and going forward to determine how we handle bye weeks next season.

I guess that answers my question about what to do with “bye” week interruptions for this system. Next season, having a “bye” week interrupt a R/H Play or a R/R Fade will disqualify it from being an official play.

Week #12 Results: 0~2 (with HOU pending)

What about byes... NE & Mia had byes, doesn't that affect the whole thing?
GL!

Hi Serbone. Sorry I did not see your question until now. Since this is a brand new system, I did not know what to do with bye weeks when it first occurred, and I decided to let it play out this season (see my post #34 just above, posing the exact same question you asked).

I personally think that a bye week interruption TOTALLY affects the system and it will definitely be something that disqualifies a play next season.

Houston is the play tonight for this system correct?

Hi Rick. Yes, HOU is the system’s play tonight (TEN lost at IND by 28 in week #11 and plays on the road again in week #12, which sets up a true “Road / Road Fade” without a bye week interruption like we had on the NYJ and IND plays).

Next season “bye” weeks will be disqualified from the system (above, see the “R/R Fades” on TB week #4/#6, as well as NE and MIA week #10/#12).

Eliminating “bye” week interruptions this season would eliminate one win (fading TB in week #6) and two losses (fading NE and MIA in week #12).

Road Wreck System is 15~4 with bye weeks eliminated

Good Luck

I kinda laughed when I initially saw the system plays earlier this week. But then I actually saw a few people on OAK (on OAK?! LOL) and thought “maybe there’s a chance?” ... but with the Hunt news, it’s really hard to gauge what’s going to happen now.

The only system plays that I’m personally playing this week are TEN & SEA ... and a teeny tiny bit on GB. The Pack should’t be spotting that many points to High School team, let alone an NFL team, but perhaps the weather will play a factor (mid 30’s and snow forecasted, but if it’s like today it will be rain and sleet rather than snow). If GB gets up early and the weather is damp and nasty, ARI might end up looking like a team that just wants to get off of the field.

Could be a very crazy day of football. We shall see. BOL this week my friend!

Thank you Indy! And BOL to you (looks like we will need it today ... ARI doesn’t appear ready to roll over today)!
