NOTE: The Miami Dolphins are a team in chaos. The normal physiological factors and motivations that apply to the Road Wreck System probably do not apply to this football team. In regard to “Road / Home” Plays, the whole premise behind this system implies that a team getting embarrassed on the road and then returning back home the next weekend is (A) likely to be highly motivated in front of home fans to not get embarrassed again, and (B) likely to be devalued in terms of the actual betting line.

But do these motivations even apply to Miami? This group is not operating like a normal team. Motivations are likely to be different from player to player and self-centered in nature at this point. The team could stay in its current state of dysfunction until something changes and this team finds a reason to rally or unite.

IT MIGHT BE TIME TO STICK A FORK IN THIS SYSTEM AND END IT: It had an incredible run last season (just look at the results) but it never had any type of historical or long term data to ever support it. I started it up this season again in hopes of recreating last year’s success ... but it just does not seem to be the case.

Unless there is a lot of vocalized support for maintaining this system, I will pull the plug on it unless it wins this weekend (and the rest of the weeks going forward).
