ISSAQUAH - A husband's fury put a rape suspect in the hospital early this morning -- after he found out his wife had been raped.

Around 2 a.m. this morning, the husband arrived at a home in Issaquah and found out his wife had been raped -- and the rape suspect was still at the scene.

Police say that's when the husband and a friend sought vengeance -- and beat the man until he was unconcious.

It happened at a home on N.E. Birch Street in Issaquah, in an older section of town.

Investigators say the men used some sort of weapon to beat the man, but they're not saying exactly what type.

The rape suspect was bleeding from the face and head when emergency crews arrived.

Police arrested both of the men who attacked him.

The injured rape suspect is a 31-year-old Kirkland resident.

He was transported to Harborview Medical Center.

The husband of the rape victim is a 31-year-old Renton resident. The other suspect is a 30-year-old Issaquah resident.

Both of these suspects were booked into the King County Jail on charges of first degree assault

And this is why authorities are a joke.

They should have shook the husband & friend's hands and told them good job.....

Sounds good. You should run for office and change the law.

Why not just kill the rapist on the spot ?

No jury would convict.

Yeah, I bet if your wife or boyfriend were raped that would be your response....

What exactly does your response have to do with mine? Like the police are really going to shake his hand, say nice job, then let them go.

He stated "that's what's wrong with the authorities." How in the hell is it their fault? They don't make the laws.

Anymore dumb responses?

People get convicted all the time for retaliation. Not saying they wouldn't acquit, but to say never is flat out not true.

They killed the rape SUSPECT. What if they were wrong? Do we really want people running around exacting vengeance. So the authorities have to arrest this guy. If it turns out this guy is actually the rapist, I am sure the husband will get a slap on the wrist.

Fuck this drop charges...this fucker was still at the scene. It's not like they tracked him down and whupped his ass.

Hopefully the rapist will get raped while in jail as well.

Exactly. I'm not saying I wouldn't want revenge. If any person hurt or killed one of my kids I'd give serious thought to taking justice into my own hands.

My only point was hache blaming the cops, like they really had a choice to arrest the guy.

usually if a woman gets raped IN HER HOME at 2 a.m., and there is a strange man in her bedroom when her husband comes home, it doesn't take Matlock to figure out, he did it....

I'd like to read the whole story. The husband comes home late at night and his friend is with him? I never believe what it printed in the papers because they're never given all the facts.

Accused rapist beaten in revenge
KOMO-TV STAFF

Two men were arrested early Sunday morning after they attacked another man who was accused of raping the wife of one of the assailants.

Issaquah police were called to the 400 block of NE Birch Street around 2 a.m. on the report of a rape. When they arrived, they found a 31-year-old Kirkland man unconscious and bleeding from cuts on his head. He was quickly taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle for treatment of his injuries.

Officers learned that the injured man was the suspect in the reported rape. He had been attacked by the woman's husband, a 31-year-old Renton man, and his friend, a 30-year-old Issaquah man, who were at the home when the reported rape occurred.

The two attackers were arrested, taken to the King County Jail and booked for first degree assault. The condition of the Kirkland man is not known. Issaquah police say that the rape suspect and the victim were acquaintances and thus believe that no break-in took place

You think authorities don't turn their heads in a lot of places/countries in similar circumstances?

Get real........The DO have a choice if they have any common sense & get their stories straight

You watch too much TV. What cop is going to risk their job lying about why they didn't make the arrest?
