He is way above average skill set

It amazes how much people are willing to give this a discussion where as the kobe comparisons to mike were blown off i remember those topics coming up and we would have 20 pages of kobe being hated... Like i said lebron is a physically gifted athlete probably the best the nba has seen but until he develops a mid range game , any type of post up back to the basket game, a respectable 3 point shot, than i cant put him on the level of kobe and the greats like mj etc

The shaq comparisons are pretty good imagine if lebron and shaq had the work ethic of a kobe or mj how great could they have been that lack of passion for the game, that will to be the best ever is something that will hold them back when tryin g to be compared the the greatest of the game

LJ as a much better shooter at age 26 then Jordan was at 26.
Have you ever seen LJ play?

Typical of guys on this board. We disagree about a topic and I'm now and idiot. Some things never change at the RX. Don't discuss the debate, just call a guy an idiot and all is good.

Because you don't seem to grasp that the HOF is not just about NBA accomplishments. He is the greatest South American player of all-time and one of the great Foreign players ever.

The idiot comment was out-of-line, my apologies, but still doesn't change the fact that Manu is lock for the HOF.

He was a HOF caliber player in the NBA anyways, just only for a few years since he didn't come over until he was 27 and kinda flamed out with injuries by '08.

I remember I ripped Chris Paradise on here when he tried to argue that Manu was just an average NBA player, ROFL.

BTW, Manu made the all-star game in 2011 as well as all-NBA 3rd team. So, I wouldn't say he has flamed out just yet.

Yeah he had a nice year this year, but in general he's spent a lot of time with nagging injuries in the 2nd part of his career.

Lebron would be a No1 draft pick in any sport, Lebron could play any position on the court, and now Lebron is a better shooter than MJ. You are full of the Lebron love, he must have made eye contact with you when he signed your jersey.

Seriously though, the only place on the floor you can say Lebron is a better shooter than MJ is behind the 3pt line. MJ concentrated more on his mid range game and lebron concentrates on anything that could make a highlight.

I completely agree with Willye here...imagine if Lebron had a good post up game...too bad we will never get to see it

Why do guys say this silly stuff? He'd be the #1 pick in the MLB draft if eligible tomorrow? Ok, good one.

Lol, that is kinda funny. LeBron just dominating at goalie for the Florida Panthers.

Although en fuego you were the one who said Cavs were "1 shooter away" (I hope you meant Larry Bird) so maybe you shouldn't throw stones.

First off, I said if Lebron took those sports seriously.
#2 you MJ did not develop much of a midrange shot till his late 20's
LJ does have a mid range shot.
Im beginning to wonder if you have ever seen LJ play.

You said Lebron is a better shooter than MJ at 26...I completely disagree...MJ did become even better as a shooter but even at 26 Lebron is behind...beauty is in the eye of the beholder so there is no right or wrong answer...

If Lebron took last years playoffs seriously I might think he is closer to MJ...

Last year they had the best record in the NBA and lost to the Celtics. Why did they lose to the Celtics? Because LeBron was by himself and couldn't do all the scoring on his own. They were a shooter/scorer away from beating the C's and playing for a title again. I don't see what's wrong with taking that position.
