You need to learn SB history, read or watch any videos surrounding SB III. Namath and the Jets were an 18 point underdog and he truly believed it would happen.

You’re an idiot. He damn well could’ve guaranteed a loss. That’s the number 1 thing you CAN guarantee in pro sports as a QB. Fumbles and INTs. So he could’ve said, “I guarantee we lose this game!” But since he guaranteed a win? He attracted viewers that normally wouldn’t watch pro football. It was the beginning of the sports entertainment.

if that’s you’re only statement? You’re dumber than guano. He could’ve kept his mouth shut and not say anything! Name another pro sport player who’s guaranteed a Championchip. I’m still waiting for my answer....not to confuse you with holding my breath kth)(&^

Not sure youre system, but first game is moot? It was the merger and Joe was told hed win the Championship as a 14pt dog I believe they were? To entice people to watch the game as the Colts conference was simply dominant. Had nothing to do with anything really. Old Joe couldnt keep his mouth shut about it so he instead guaranteed the win which had more glued to the game. It was the beginning of the sports entertainment business as we know it!

Hi Friend....I have no dog in this fight...this story has been embellished over time and like many things in history..this isn't what really happened...What did happen is well documented and has been supported by Namath many times over the years...the Jets were not looking to stir anything up with the colts...Namath was being pushed and goded by the press leading up to the game. finally in response to the same question and statements he'd been getting about them having no chance...he made the "guarentee" which was taken completely out of context...being that they won the press had a field day and the story turned to legend....GL this weekend

For all the hype regarding the Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes, there is a perfect super bowl system (5-0) based on regular season numbers that is on the Bucs side. While I'm not ready to list the system here, I can show you the five teams it went against and the years they happened:

1968 Colts - lost 16-7 to the NY Jets
1983 Redskins - lost 38-9 to the L.A. Raiders
1984 Dolphins - lost 38-16 to the 49ers
2001 Rams - lost 20-17 to the Patriots
2009 Colts - lost 31-17 to the Saints

I discovered this system back during the 2001 season and posted repeatedly on this site that New England was going to defeat the greatest show on turf. And I was right.

BL

What have you got to lose by sharing this system with us in detail?

It has happened 5 times in 53 years, every 10.6 years, odds are you will be dead before the next one happens.

Pats fan here. When the Pats were huge underdogs to the Rams in New Orleans there were many tickets available. I asked my husband, "why don't we go to this game?". He said, "don't you want to go to a game where your team has a chance of winning?". Well, that was the LAST time I listened to him.... I am a believer in TB 12 and the Bucs. Good luck to everyone!!!

Honestly, I get kick of guys like this
What has this guy brought to this forum?
Uses everyones picks and systems and then posts this
It isn't even his system and guy doesn't want to share
lmao

He must think everyone is gonna bet it and TB will be -20 by SB
Or he is gonna be a millionaire off this 1 system

Don't even post you have a system if you want to hoard it
It is fine then
No point in this thread IMO
Offers zero

System could be QB who had chicken Mcnuggets before Championship is 0-5 in SB

I am suspicious of any poster who has a "system" and then will not reveal it. I can name some names though I will not, but I laugh at them, too. A few, over the years, might possibly be somewhat legit, but not all, not most of 'em, it is clear.

Maybe Big Lou has a system, fine, if so reveal it, what earthly reason does he have to not do so? Once every 10 years it has a selection.

Your a boy of limited brain capacity. Need to grow up and learn. Even a tiny mind such as yours is a terrible thing to waste. Joe Willie was the original and most memorable guarantee in sports.

If I offer zero, then stop posting in my thread and bumping it up.

From a real NYer to an up-stater. Go collect some cans and bottles from your neighbors trash bags and trade them in for some change so you can buy yourself a keyboard as your space bar is shot on your Gateway desktop.

5 occurrences in 50 years, 2 in the last 20, 1 in the last 11. Not too reliable, and not really statistically relevant

Another thing about systems is that rules and style of play affect their reliability. I deal with systems all the time. Basketball is a prime example. The 3 Ball revolution has completely changed the way the game is played. I changed or dumped several systems just based on this.....and have also created new ones covering the past 3-5 years because of these changes.

The NFL is a completely different game than the one I watched growing up in the 70's and 80's. The NFL today is similar to the NBA, where launching from 3 and throwing the ball the majority of the time has changed the way the game is played.

If you're unwilling to share this system, so that folks here can make a decision on how relevant it is based on today's style of play, then I would be surprised if anyone gave this system a second thought.
