So he could’ve said, “I guarantee we lose this game!” But since he guaranteed a win? He attracted viewers that normally wouldn’t watch pro football. It was the beginning of the sports entertainment.

Hi Friend....I have no dog in this fight...this story has been embellished over time and like many things in history..this isn't what really happened...What did happen is well documented and has been supported by Namath many times over the years...the Jets were not looking to stir anything up with the colts...Namath was being pushed and goded by the press leading up to the game. finally in response to the same question and statements he'd been getting about them having no chance...he made the "guarentee" which was taken completely out of context...being that they won the press had a field day and the story turned to legend....GL this weekend

Pats fan here. When the Pats were huge underdogs to the Rams in New Orleans there were many tickets available. I asked my husband, "why don't we go to this game?". I am suspicious of any poster who has a "system" and then will not reveal it. I can name some names though I will not, but I laugh at them, too. A few, over the years, might possibly be somewhat legit, but not all, not most of 'em, it is clear.
Maybe Big Lou has a system, fine, if so reveal it, what earthly reason does he have to not do so? Once every 10 years it has a selection.

Another thing about systems is that rules and style of play affect their reliability. I deal with systems all the time. Basketball is a prime example. The 3 Ball revolution has completely changed the way the game is played. I changed or dumped several systems just based on this.....and have also created new ones covering the past 3-5 years because of these changes.
The NFL is a completely different game than the one I watched growing up in the 70's and 80's. The NFL today is similar to the NBA, where launching from 3 and throwing the ball the majority of the time has changed the way the game is played.
If you're unwilling to share this system, so that folks here can make a decision on how relevant it is based on today's style of play, then I would be surprised if anyone gave this system a second thought.
