I still haven't figured out how to eat the noodles in the pho without spraying broth on my shirt when I pick up the noodles with my chopsticks!

I try to bend over as far as possible but I'm 6'6" and I don't think the tables at Vietnamese restaurants are designed for someone my height.

Actually X, it works both ways. Men have a natural inclination to support the woman and the household so the that's the way a man serves the woman. That is what makes such an arrangement so endearing to the couple. Each partner is making an effort to help the other partner out.

In the North American model, both the man and the woman go out and earn the money while someone else raises the kids. How does that make one partner endearing to the other? The woman is serving another man (her boss) instead of raising the man's children. No wonder there is so much divorce.

When girls are young they dream of being a princess when they grow up and hope to marry a prince. They rarely dream of going away to work for a man other than her husband.

I am half-Vietnamese and I've got to say NOTHING beats home made Vietnamese food...just ask Coop.

Met up with SS awhile back in China Town after some shopping, had just picked up some fresh Vietnamese Bakery. Think I gave SS a curry beef bun. The boys in my household LOVE the pork buns.

However, nothing is better than Authentic Chinese food is this world. Hong Kong and Canton has the best Chinese food you can find, what you eat here is not Chinese food.

I really like Pho. It is no surprise that it's popular in North America, because it has ingredients that are popular here. It has a great salty broth, loads of fresh meat, and it can be accentuated with lime.

When I was over in HK back in 1993, the food there was awesome. Seafood was fresh from the ocean and the dim sums were top notch. Occasionally we would eat a fabulous supper at the City University restaurant (I think that's what it was called). Even the holes in the walls had pretty good food at exceptional prices.

Everyone should experience Hong Kong and it's food once.
