IMO, Vietnamese food is the best of all the Asian cuisines with Thai coming a close second. If you have only tried Pho, you have barely scratched the tip of the iceberg because there are a slew of other delicious dishes including the grilled pork with vermicelli, an array of grilled rice plates, vietnamese ban mi(sandwiches that blow away Subway's any day)....you need to go to somewhere other than just a strictly "Pho" place.

If you live near a Lee's Sandwich shop, forget about going to Starbuck's. Their Vietnamese pressed coffee with condensed milk is much more flavorful.

what the pho? I always wondered why so many viets knew how to speak french...

My ex girlfriend was Laotian and would put mad hot sauce and SUGAR in her Pho, it was pretty good, but nothing beats Pho Bo with extra lemon and hot sauce
