They can get the best coach in the country, but they better land a few recruits!

Everyone thought Muschamp was the greatest DC in college football and Auburn gives him $1.6 million....he proceeds to lay an egg and they finish dead last in the SEC in total defense.

But got another HC job in the SEC. How the heck does that work? I can see So Carolina going back to the days of Pre-Spurrier

They're in for several bad years. Terrible, lazy hire by the SC AD.

Bob Shoop off the market. That's how the big boys do it. Tennessee even took the Miami Hurricanes interim coach and made him a TE coach.

Good luck with Peter Sirmon lol

In all seriousness tho, Gene Chizik would be the perfect hire for Oregon. Pray that happens

Oregon has now began interviewing mike Nolan... His daughter attends the university and he was a former player for the ducks. The move would logically work and provide Oregon with a big name and face... This just started as of today from my guys in Eugene. A lot of them really like this fit.

on a side note, Oregon also hired a new QB coach, David yost from Washington state. Yost worked 12 seasons at mizzou under pinkel and was most recently the inside WR coach at wazoo where in two seasons he was apart of a Corp that led the conference in passes caught. He's a bright guy and the move is seen by many as a great tool to develop the young QBs. I personally like it. I also imagine he will have some role with WRs as well considering his background

HaHa!! I don't see that happening. Now Chizik going to Oregon to be the HC, sure keep helfrich as the OC. But going to work as DC? I don't see that happening.

Brady is an Ohio Boy by birth; He "cut his teeth" East of the Mississippi River; There will be a little culture shock he must deal withwhen he sets-up camp in Oregon.

Coached at SDSU and was successful. It'll be interested seeing how he wraps his head around the diverse offenses he's now going to have to defend week in/week out.

Thomas tyner retires from football due to injuries..... Wow.... Quite possibly one of the states best athletes in the past decade and he's done just like that. Had a ton of potential but never did harness it or at least never got the chance. Crazy. That definitely hurts the running back depth to say the least. Freeman, Benoit, brooks James and griffin are great but ducks have a history of key injuries..... Hope this doesn't hurt too much

Ummmm what ??? Have you officially gone off the deep end or something? It was a relevant post to the thread relating to the Oregon Ducks situation lol..... For 2016 hahahahahaha..... How much have you had to drink man?? I need a couple bottles of whatever it is your sipping on. Calling out the mods and basically calling them a bunch of dumb fucks is probably the worst thing you could do. I give praise all the time to Alabama, especially their most recent recruiting class and how that will impact this upcoming season. I mention a key RB for Oregon retiring and you lose your mind..... What in the actual fuck man.... You've officially lost me forever. I doubt I'll ever value any of your input again. Peace be with you man.

The Oregon Ducks have been pulling tricks (and Qb's and running backs with speed) out of the "Hat" for quite a few years now; I'm convinced they will continue to do the same in the years ahead. It seems to be in the "culture" of their program.

This recruiting class was bad considering how well the team has done in recent years and having the best facilities around.. No way should we only get 2 out of 300 ESPN recruits with where this school is now.....This starts with Helfrich.. He needs to go if he can't produce better then this..Hopefully Knight tells them all that this isn't acceptable
