Well that is some distortion...

Revis shut everyone down in 2009 and 2010 so by 2011 nobody threw at him. 2012 he missed most of the year and then last year he was recovering and not himself for a good portion of the year.

Also Revis was covering Jordy Nelson, Sherman was covering Jarrett Boykin who the Packers barely even play anymore.

A) Sherman wasn't thrown at last year either when he was already considered the best in the league.

Come on man, you're gonna use the Sherman doesn't move around argument? It's the same argument all the trolls use on ESPN. Bottom line is, WR's and CB's across the league consider him the best cover corner there is. That's all that needs to be said.

And, I mean, when Revis is covering Jordy, Rodgers is throwing the ball his way right? Why would Rodgers throw at Revis? And if he did, Revis can still pick the ball off right?

If he was covering Jordy Nelson on 90% of the snaps I'm guessing he would've seen a few balls go his way just like Revis did.

You know comparing INTs from 2011-2014 with those 2 is flawed because Sherman played way more games, Revis was more established and no one threw at him then he tore his ACL.

I'm not even saying he is better than Sherman. Although I do think at his peak in '09 and '10 on the Jets he was better than Sherman is now. He was shutting down the #1 WR on every team every week those years.

It's not how the Seahawks play D. When you're #1, why change?

I don't have the metrics infront of me but he didn't throw at him much. Jordy had 2 catches and just made the 1 big play before the half.

I'm not complaining about the officiating because this happens a lot but he kinda, sorta, maybeeeee got away with a pushoff on that TD as well.

I didn't say they should change it. If GB had more offensive output I'm sure they would've (and if they play again I think they will change it) but saying Rodgers didn't throw at Sherman and he threw at Revis is kinda absurd when Revis covered their best WR and Jordy covered their worst don't you think?

Numbers never lie Willie. You're in the numbers business. Don't claim Revis is better than Sherman. Proof is in statistics.

I remember pretty clearly Aaron Rodgers not throwing one ball Sherman's way. He had no problem throwing at Revis. What else needs to be said?

The Pats secondary is second to none this year, they're just as good as anybody's. And yes, numbers do lie. You see, when a team scores 30 points a game their defense is going to play with a different strategy than a defense for a team that scores 20 points a game. When a team's offense scores quicker, that defense will be on the field more often. When a team is playing against a team that scores 30 points per game, they have to play more aggressively to try and score some points (while their opponents defense will play softer at some point in time). Stated differently, when you've scored 7 points but you're still in the game until a ref's bad call with four minutes left, you don't have to leave your comfort zone on offense. You don't have to open it up.

I'm not knocking Seattle's defense in any way shape or form, they're great. I'm just pointing out that numbers can and do lie. It's all situational

No Patriot FS or SS can touch E. Thomas or K Chancellor. None.

And your starting CB was released by Seattle because we have a better one there now.

Rodgers told Sherman on the field "I hope you get some work this year" with a smile.

No way VD. I'll be the first to tell you when they suck and won't make bold predictions based on my heart not my head.

I will say though nobody is playing better right now in the NFL than Seattle. Nobody should want to face them in the playoffs.

The referees and/or the new rules especially the refs and all those terrible and inconsistent penalty calls ie: pi are ruining the game of NFL football and the league i hope will do something about it this off season

the Pats are playing better, and they can play on both sides of the ball

The Pats always look good because of the shitty division they play in. Beating Miami at home isn't really much of an accomplishment.

The Colts game was a good win but when they went into KC and played GB, they were exposed.

Seattle went into KC and lost too, did they get exposed? And the GB game? You are kidding right. They played well that game got beat in a close one it happens. Just like when Seattle lost at St. Louis.

You can't cherry pick when comparing wins and losses. I could say Pats went in SD and won which is something Seattle couldn't do. But that's ridiculous, Seattle is a much better team than San Diego.

Seattle is a great team. I only hope the Pats get a chance to play them.

seriously, you're often times irrational, don't even know where to begin trying to respond to this poppycock.

you obviously must think Seattle "was exposed" when they loss, eh? or does one one way thinking come into play again? my god

guess who has a better record?
guess who's blown away all the best teams in their conference? yes blown away
guess who has a stronger SOS? better record and stronger SOS and wider margin of victory?
and that SOS record just blows your divisional idiocy out of the water

and guess who's favored in Vegas?

the answer to all of those questions is the New England Patriots. The offensively challenged Seahawks who look offensive on offense can't beat them by scoring < 20 points

PS: and allow me to continue to argue as you would: Seattle's defense only looks as good as it does because their entire division can't score. AZ & St Louis suck on offense to begin with, not your Hawks get to defend their taxi squad QB's. awesome baby

LOL, a loss is a loss for sure but NE lost in KC by 27. Got their doors blown off. Seattle on the 1 inch line with chance to take the lead late in the 4th. They competed, NE did not.

NE was down to GB by double digits all game. It really wasn't as close as the score indicated. I know as I had the NE side in the game.

Your defense to NE being good is they've blown away teams in their own division? Perhaps the 2nd worst division in the NFL? Ok.

In all seriousness, the only irrational guys are the ones that slob all over T. Brady and the Pats when they haven't won shit in years.
