ya know the road team has gotten a win in a series just as often as the home team so far this year.

This is actually a different view as far as the road team is concerned. I have been playing around with it and am going to give out limited plays with this for a while.
My system had 4 home series that started today and I didn't like the looks of them for either juice reasons or getting into the later stages of the process.

Too bad, I wish you would have posted those plays, I would have liked to see them and at least keep track! Why go against the system, doesn't make much sense? You went with StL and added a minus 1 run. What's this different view on road teams you speak of, would love to hear it?

It is a very simple answer to your question about why go against the system.
Remember that there is a bunch of losses that still remain from past seasons. If I play every one of them this year without going through a season and using good judgement and tracking everything I will not be succesful. I agree that I did play the -1 run and I felt good about it as well on one of the series but it has just been something to monitor for a while.
Here were the system picks:
Boston
Seattle
Oakland
And are you ready for a big surprise
Philly
Keep this in mind. Once I qualify a series I look at it in depth. Game by game for the 3 games.
I reversed it on Philly because I seen a lot of weakness in the first 2 games for Philly. That's it.
This was originally a home team only but as the year progresses I am seeing value for any series.

With this system in place the majority of the sweeps that occur in a season I will not even be looking at those.
Some sense of picking and choosing series that qualify HAS to take place to be succesful.
