I know this was your angle with Arkansas and it worked to your favor but this Aztec team is much more poised, experienced and not full of NBA talent led by a douchebag coach. A reporter that was in the SDSU locker room said it was more of a business as usual atmosphere and they were focused on the next hurdle. Arkansas was popping champagne bottles after their upset of KU. I've been following you for years and I know you haven't been sold on my Aztecs in both basketball and football but this is the year Fred! One game away from a beatable FAU and we can be in the National Championship game! I BELIEVE THAT WE WILL WIN, I BELIEVE THAT WE WILL WIN!
Couldn't agree more. If they get beat by Creighton it won't be because of a let down. This team isn't built that way.
Good points. I have played on the Aztecs in basketball this season as they looked to be the best of the Mt. West. And the are a veteran team. However, Creighton comes from the more competitive conference as far as the top 5-6 teams. No matter how much a college team is business as usual, there can be some over-confidence and lingering effects that players don't acknowledge, but they are there. The line is small for a reason though. Should be a good game.

OSU also lost their 4th and 5th scorers earlier in the season to injury. Yet you can see how their defense stepped up to suffocate UConn. It led to a lot of turnovers and poor shots by UConn. VT has been very good defensively, ending up 1st in FG% allowed in the ACC, and 2nd in total defense. They can be physically intimidating.
