You've got to eat lobster fresh out of the north Atlantic. I mean minutes out of the cold ocean water of Maine. Boiled, then dipped in drawn butter. A bucket of steamers and a cold beer along with it. Of course at a picnic table by the ocean on a hot summer day. Heaven. When you do this check back in.

You can't eat lobster in Louisiana, or Vegas, or Chicago and think you're getting anything close to what Maine offers. Like eating lettuce fresh out of your garden or eating lettuce that's been sitting on your kitchen counter for three days. Not even close to the same thing.

Lobster is prison food.

Pork Belly destroys bacon.

BBQ is the shiznit. The best doesn’t need sauce, it’s all in the rub, but if you insist, vinegar and/or mustard base for me.

Lived the first 35 years of my life 5 minutes from Atlantic Ocean in RI and had that meal of Lobster with steamers hundreds of times. I’m checking in and agreeing that it’s Heaven. Maybe overpriced some places but not overrated.

What the fuck kind of low class taste buds do you guys have? Lobster is overrated? Barbecue is overrated? Maybe red lobster sucks but fresh lobsters from the NE are great along with fried clams

I really miss NE fried clams... when I was a kid Howard Johnsons would have all you can eat fried clams one night a week, and we were there every time

agree with Chop. I like it and eat it but lobster is way over rated. Matty Matt is also right, it was prison food. There was a time when no one would eat lobster so they fed it to the inmates. Then one day it became "fashionable" to eat Lobster but I am not sure how that happened. For the work you must do or the price you must pay for Lazy man's, it is not worth it.

if you think that maine lobsters are over rated then your taste buds need an attitude adjustment. other food items come close but properly prepared steamed lobster is the leader of the pack.

Lobster and shrimp are the cockroaches of the sea.Lobster was also commonly served in prisons, much to the displeasure of inmates. American lobster was initially deemed worthy only of being used as fertilizer or fish bait, and until well into the 20th century, it was not viewed as more than a low-priced canned staple food.
