i actually think people underate lobster considering how great the protein to calorie ratio is .. can eat 16 - 24 ounces of lobster meat and it barely

registers any calories .. amazing how much you can pig out and stay under calorie goal for day ..

most overated is easy ... shrimp .. shrimp is shit
never understood the shrimp thing. there's a reason why they promote "endless shrimp" for like $6.99 ... it's basically a cooked bowl of spiders, crickets, and centipedes.

depends on how's its cooked/prepared.

like lobster its also protein dense, low-calorie (a dozen shrimp gets you to 85 calories, lol). Also a source of EPA/DHA. Sure they are rich in cholesterol but there's no correlation between dietary cholesterol and amount of 'excess' cholesterol in the body(or rather i dont buy the 'evidence' of implied causation)

note- USDA dietary guidelines REMOVED their previous specific limit of dietary cholesterol.Rather they now say 'choose foods lower in cholesterol , lol.

Living in Indiana now, I can’t get lobster(not a decent price) as easily as I could back east, so I’ve turned to eating shrimp a lot now. Much cheaper and so many different ways to prepare it. Just had baked stuffed shrimp last night. Everyone has different tastes so not surprised to see so many think lobster is overrated. Personally, I think the most overrated food is pizza. I enjoy it but it’s not as great as most make it out to be.

I'd have a tough time eating seafood in a state like Indiana? Where do they get it from?

Been eating seafood here for almost 30 years. Never had an issue. Definitely had better tasting lobster on east coast but is still very tasty here. Obviously, no where near the selection here, but still decent quality. We live in era where they have developed ways to ship items like this and still stay fresh.

The wife and I like red wines. If I'm drinking something harder,
I like a lot of rum based drinks... sometimes tequila. You?

Currently in a Mexican beer phase. Pacifico with fresh lime. Tequila if I want something stronger, but only the good stuff

I am sure the Maryland folk will disagree, but hard shell crabs just don't do it for me. The amount of work it takes to get to the meat, and then you get like an ounce of crabmeat. Oh, yeah, and it is covered in yellow crab feces.

Most good foods are overrated if prepared poorly.

Whoever said sushi is a good one. It is OK in general, but some of the different types of fish just plain suck.
