Twins +102
Surprised this isn’t higher, Twins have lost 4 of 5, and Oakland is on fire winning 4 straight. They are also starting Fiers and he’s been on a tear, going 6 innings 8 in a row and only giving up 1-2 runs. Why isn’t he favored higher?
Twins haven’t lost more than twice in a row this year and we are going to ride that today. The over under is 9 which implies more runs scored and with Fiers pitching we thought it would be 8, but with that line we lean to the dog. Let’s go!

2 plays to start

Tigers 1st 5 innings -120
vegas respects boyd. We had this play days ago but it was postponed. The full game line is only -108 White Sox and the Tigers are -150’to score first and the team total is set evenly at 4.5 but the tigers over is juiced. Reason why we are not taking the full game is due to the bullpen being so weak but we will respect this 1st 5 variance and take the tigers.

Take over 10 -105
The first two games of this series was set at 9, with Clevinger and Bauer pitching. Bauer has a 3.74 era and Clevinger has a 4.44 era. Today Plesac starts with a 3.61 era yet the over under is 1 run higher. Hmmm. Plesac is off a bad start giving up 7 runs but before that, he went 7 innings 4 of 5 times giving up only 1-2 runs in each of those starts. If he does anything like that, this goes way under right? Why did Vegas set this so high today? Homer Bailey is not bad, he’s also off a bad start giving up 5 runs to Toronto, but before that game, he gave up 1,0, and 0 going 5, 7 and 6 innings. He’s not bad, so we would think today’s over under was going to be 8.5. Something smells in this game. This game is already delayed due to weather, so is that mean Vegas expects another weather delay during the game and both these Pitchers get pulled early for a bullpen war? That’s what it seems like. If the game gets delayed for too long the starters are pulled, so I am assuming this will happen today due to the high line. We are going with the over 10 -105. Good luck

Taking Seattle -101
Our book has Cardinals -108, barely a favorite today. Wacha’s last two games he went 6-7 innings giving up 1 and 2 runs. He’s barely favored, we don’t like that. Seattle should have a shot today with this sort of line so we will back them at home. Good luck

Rays -102
Yankees don’t have Judge or Urshela today. Stanton is out, Edwin has not hit well at all since joining the Yankees. To replace Judge and Urshela, they have Ford, .179 AVG and Tauchman, .208 AVG, starting. That shouldn’t help the bats for the Yankees today, that’s why they are not favored big. They are favored because they are the “Yankees” and the books know they will get money on them regardless. This is the Game the Rays need to steal and win, as they play them 4 times and they will see the beef of the line up in the coming games. Chirinos has done well vs this current line up, giving up a .130 AVG and .167 OBP in 46 at bats. He’s only walked 1 and struck out 9, but Happ on the other hand is giving up .270 AVG and .308 OBP vs the Rays starting line up in 37 at bats. The public is favoring the Yankees slightly right now but the sharps are on the Rays today. Tampa has the best bullpen in the league and should help them close this game Today. Let’s go! Good luck

2-3 yesterday. Looking to bounce back today.

Orioles +135
Sanchez has not played well since May 27, and Gurriel is out of the line up today. Sanchez has a horrible walk ratio vs the starting line up of the Orioles, and he’s giving up a .484 OBP vs them. We hope his struggles continue today and see the Orioles steal a rare win.

Brewers/Pirates Over 10.5 +100
Davies has only given up 1-3 runs vs Pitt this year, and he faced them 3 times in the last 40 days. Brault faces the Brewers and gave up 1-2 runs as well. Why is this over under 10.5? Brewers scored 0 runs in their last two games. Something smells with this over under, should be 9. When it seems absurd, you know what we need to do. Take the over, Vegas might know something here. Let’s go!

Possibly. Brault and Davies will get pulled soon with a high pitch count but you may be right, very slow snooze games. Bats are sleeping.

Giants -116
We should see quite a battle tonight when the Giants face the Cardinals. Giants are off a clean sweep of the Padres, and the Cardinals took 2 of 3 vs the Mariners. Ever since June 30th, the Giants have been scoring at will, scoring 10, 13, 10, and 7 runs in their last 4 games. The Cardinals are a decent team, but their bats are a tad on and off. In the entire month of June, they have not scored in double digits like the Giants have in their last 4, and in addition, in their last 11 games, the most they have scored was 5 runs. Not shutting them down, they have been pitching well and getting some wins, but without those Bats, they are losing more than winning. In their last 10 games, they are 4-6 with a 5 game losing streak in the middle of that. They just beat up on the mariners, but their pitching is atrocious, Seattle ranks 27th in Bullpen ERA and the most they scored were 5 runs. Hudson is a beast tho, before giving up 7 runs in 1 inning to the Padres on June 29th, he gave up 1 run in his last 4 of 5. In those games, he went 6-7 innings. Pomeranz has also been pitching very well at home, in his last 4 home starts, he has given up 0 runs twice and 2 runs twice. In those starts, he was only able to go 5 innings, however the Giants bullpen rank 5th. The Cardinals rank 7th, so its going to be a war today. For us, we felt that this would be a low scoring game and an over under of around 7.5, maybe 8, however it is sitting at 8.5, which implies to us that the Giants could keep hitting today, cuz we don't believe that the Cardinals will explode, they haven't for a while. If this over under was sitting at 7.5, we would lay off as Hudson can go long and shut out the Giants, but with it sitting at 8.5, we believe both pitchers give up some runs early and the better bullpen and bats should take this game. We are taking the Giants, in a game where we see it being 5-3, 6-3, or 6-4. Lets go!

2 plays to start the day

Blue Jays -146
Over 11 -104
Blue jays will get Gurriel back to bat third today. Cashner is 8-3 and is off a game giving up 0 runs, and before that he went 6 innings 3 times with only 1-3 runs given up yet is getting +135. Richards averages less innings than Cashner only going 5-6 innings, giving up 3-5 runs in his last 4, which is also higher than cashner, yet they are laying a nice -146 today. Vegas believes Cashner to have an off game, which helps with the over. We believe Richard will be himself giving up 3-5, but we believe the Blue Jays break out their bats today based off that whopping 11 over under that was set. Let’s go! Good luck

Nationals Team Total Over 5.5 -130
Let’s say that Max goes 7-8 innings today and gives up 1 run to the Royals, the way he has been pitching by the way in his last 8 games, he’s given up 0 runs 3 times, 1 run 4 times and 2 runs once. Where are all the runs going to come from when Vegas sets the over under at 9? That’s a solid over under for a game Max is pitching. With such a high over under, we believe the Nationals tee off today and score at least 6-7, especially based off that 9 over under. The nationals bullpen, who is ranked last, could give some up at the end, but we feel good about this team total rather than the game total, just in case the royals ended up only scoring 1-2 and not help. Good luck!

White Sox +107
We really like the home team today off a day rest. Giolito is a home/away pitcher. His last 5 home games, he’s giving up an avg of 0-1 runs, with 1 game of 3 runs. On the road he has struggled lately but he’s back where he succeeds and the cubs have been horrendous on the road this year. Lester on the road, his last 4 games he’s given up 4,6,7, and 5. This is the game the White Sox needs to steal at home.
Let’s go!
