The System is picking the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in this game with all four suggested lines making the pick. I think what will happen tonight is a lot of people will refer to some of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers performances on Primetime Television this season and they will shy away because of how bad they looked against the Giants, the Bears and the Saints. All four had solid defenses and so do the Rams but I think the Bucs learned a thing or two in those games and they are most definitely not coming out and losing 38-3 again the way they did at home against the Saints a few weeks ago. The Rams are coming off a big home win over Seattle but the last two times they went on the road they lost games in San Francisco (as a Favorite) and in Miami (as a Favorite). Their only road wins during the 2020 season are at Washington and at Philadelphia, two teams who will surely be competing for a top pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. All this talk about the Rams defense but what about the Bucs defense? They rank in the TOP 10 in all defensive categories in the NFL including having the #2 ranked run defense in the NFL. That's a lot of pressure on Goff to make big plays and he hasn't reacted well to that in the past without some type of run support. The Rams are not a consistent team and the last six times they covered a spread in a game they came out the next time and went 1-4-1 ATS in their next game. The Rams have also covered only 6 of their last 20 games as an Underdog and only 3 of their last 11 Monday Night Football Games. This is probably an irrelevant stat (I post trends just for fun) but Tampa Bay is 12-2-2 ATS in their last 16 games played in Week 11 of the NFL Season and their defense is playing well enough right now (with the exception of the New Orleans game) to completely dominate on that end of the field. They also have enough weapons to come up with a really good plan that eats up clock and finishes with scores on each drive. Let's see where this goes and if the System can get streaking in Primetime.
