If you are a one loss team and your one loss is to a team not in the top 10 then you should not get a shot.

at least WV lost when they were the underdog

Let it go, your team was exposed for the frauds they were. They would get smoked by Louisville, Ohio St, Boise St, Rutgers, LSU, USC, etc...

WV would get smoked by Rutgers? Speaking of smoke, what are you smoking? You want to put your money where your mouth is? They play soon. I will take WVU right now.

anyone who thinks Rutgers will beat WV in Morgantown has obviously never been to a Rutgers game in Morgantown. This one won't even be close.

I know WV blew their shot, but conference road games are always tough. I doubt Rutgers would have been in it in the fourth quarter in Louisville.

How could USC possibly go if their 1 loss is to a team that is ranked what #23 and wouldn't even be ranked if they didn't beat USC. Meanwhile Texas 1 loss was to #1. ND's 1 loss was to #2, Floridas 1 loss was to #6 on the road with a questionable call, hell even Wisconsons 1 loss was to the #2 team on the road. And either Mich or OSU 1 loss will be to the #1 or #2 team. In my opinion the one loss team that lost to the better team should go. Alot of shit has to happen for USC to get in

Have to agree, USC has BY FAR, the worst loss of the 1 loss teams in contention.

Notre Dame will beat USC.

Hope you're right D, but if they do, you think that will get them in the big one? I doubt it, just because of the way they lost to Michigan, doubt the voters will forget that, but who know. Just wondering what you thought.

Yes, great defense but Leak showed his true colors when he threw up on himself in the second half vs. auburn...

Rail, Rail, Rail, USC is barely in the backseat..along with Auburn and Cal..

Florida has the keys, Texas is riding shotgun..

Notre Dame is in the trunk..

Boise St is on the moped behind it losing ground.

Why does the one loss team of Michigan or Ohio St. always left out of these discussions. One of them will have a loss and if any one loss team plays in the title it should be them, whichever it is. Plus it would be the best thing I have ever witnessed in college football.

And if USC is in the title game that will be a sorry day as a college football fan. They are the least deserving of all those 1 loss teams clustered there in the top 10.

Due to the late date of the OSU-Mich loser, it requires extreme circumstances for the loser to stay alive, such as a 1 point loss, or miracle desperation catch for winner by OSU,etc..

Much like the BS of placing the zillion-point losing Nebraska(to Colo) into the CG, and also after Oklahoma having such an extremely high rating and being called one of the "greatest ever" before KSU beat them in KC, then still being placed in the BCS Title Game over USC..with LSU subsequently sitting on them also in '03.

Once November has started, for better or worse, it's Elimination Time(even should they later win their League Championship Game) for any Losers as long as other Heavyweights have 1 Loss and/or win out.

The date of the loss matters in the BCS? I didn't know that. I still think if OSU loses they are in. If Michigan loses, probably not, but they should be IMO unless they get dominated.

Good grief get a playoff already
