Congrats to you on the Titan win. But, also, on the winners you gave the past few days. Looks like your series picks were good as well...I think Pepperdine is down to their last 6 outs.

Lookin forward to next round but wanted to make sure I passed along this word of thanks. Hope you enjoyed the game, it has been fun listening to the Titans on the net the last 3 nights. Nothing like College baseball.

Regionals Recap

Overall - not too bad - especially the Series' picks and the big game of the 1st round (I am still shaking my head over that one)

Looking at SR matchups - there are a few series prices i am going to eagerly wait to see for i know i have a few very strong opinions on a few included one i know the wrong side will be favored - and i will open a new thread for the SR plays - and i actually find this round MUCH easier than the Regionals for there are fewer games and pitching matchups are pretty much set and we know the starters will be well rested and the matchups will not be guesswork like we saw Monday in the Regional matchups

But to Recap the Regionals:

<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>

Regionals

<o:p></o:p>

Overall: 7-2: +9.60 units

Games: 4-2: +2.10 units

Series: 3-0: +7.50 units

<o:p></o:p>

To win Corvalis Regional: <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:place><st1:placeName>Oregon</st1:placeName> <st1:placeType>State</st1:placeType></st1:place> -250: WIN +1.00 units

To win Long Beach Regional: USC +500: WIN +5.00 units

To win Tempe Regional: ASU +150: WIN +1.50 units

<o:p></o:p>

<st1:date Month="6" Day="5" Year="2005">06/05/05</st1:date>: <st1:City><st1:place>Long Beach</st1:place></st1:City> -177 over Pepperdine: Pepp 6-3 --- LOSS: -1.77 units

06/04/05: USC +110 over Long Beach: USC 6-4 --- WIN: +1.10 units

<st1:date Month="6" Day="4" Year="2005">06/04/05</st1:date>: Pepperdine -3.5 -123 over <st1:State><st1:place>Rhode Island</st1:place></st1:State>: Pepp 2-1 --- LOSS: -1.23 units

<st1:date Month="6" Day="3" Year="2005">06/03/05</st1:date>: <st1:City><st1:place>Fullerton</st1:place></st1:City> -170 over Harvard (2-unit play): <st1:City><st1:place>Fullerton</st1:place></st1:City> 19-0 --- WIN: +2.00 units

<st1:date Month="6" Day="3" Year="2005">06/03/05</st1:date>: <st1:City><st1:place>Long Beach</st1:place></st1:City> -165 over <st1:State><st1:place>Rhode Island</st1:place></st1:State>: <st1:City><st1:place>Long Beach</st1:place></st1:City> 11-2 --- WIN: +1.00 units

Man I didnt know those games had those lines. I didnt check until day 2 to even see that college baseball was being offered on a game-by-game basis.

Fullerton -170 over Harvard!!!

Long Beach -165 over Rhode Island!!!

Wow, i would have made the maximum wager on those 2. They've made some line adjustments already just in 2 days. Now Fullerton is -500 over Arizona. Compared to -170 over Harvard, that was just free money. I hope they screw this up again next year, but I doubt they will. :sad3:

Lets get 'em in the supers!

Man Ariz State was an underdog in their own regional?

Very nice call on USC for the series. I missed that one. Very nice.

again - all about getting the right price. NO WAY asu should have been a dog in the regional - but they were - so thank you. as i said at the time - on paper - usc was the best team in the regional and never should have been anywhere near +500 with a price of around +125 at most.

but sadly - i sense after some ludicrous series prices - and what i say might be the all-time WORST-EVER line on ANY sporting event of an opening line of Fullerton -160 over Harvard the books aren't as dumb as they were at the start of play

then again - there is one series out there where i know FOR A FACT they will make the wrong side the fave - and once they do - hopefully they will pay for it.

looking at SR matchups i can see at least 4 series picks i know will be decent lines and ones i can play w/confidence

Winky,

Where do you play most/all your series at? I don't think Pinnacle or 5 Dimes had those for the Regionals.
