Just a heads up on a stud rookie pitcher making his MLB debut tommorow. (biggest bet)

Even though the under is cooked, I'll betcha Choppy gets the win. Call it my jinx for not following the play for the game (did a 5 inning play). Neither pitcher looks good and the Phillies "D" looks like a cast of idiots. I'll bet they botch up a play on another error, and the Gigantes capitalize on it.:lolBIG:

Everyone gets "egg on their face" during the season - unless they quit. As much as you want him to win so he won't go down big for the day is as much as I want PHI to win so I won't be down for the day. Games have a way of working themselves out over the course of a season. CT will be cash positive when it's all said and done (end of the season).

Everybody here is so quick to jump on somebody when they're wrong( and this is by no means over-just as I typed that, the game is now tied), but I hope these same people give up props when the people they bash are right.

It would only seem fair/fitting but I doubt some will do that. That is why they play a FULL 9 (plus when needed) innings, anyone thinking the game was completed early is very foolish (IMHO).

Once again. I hope Chop wins for his sake. My point is not gambling related. It was a simple argument that any rookie needs to be proven.

it happens when you create 3 threads that have something to do with making your biggest bet of the year and subtley advertising the fact by creating 3 threads about the same game.

Not saying it's right or wrong, just that it obviously garners attention (gotta take the bad attention with the good I suppose).

Bingo.

Agreed. If you create three threads to talk about one play, expect to take a lot of crap if it doesn't come out a winner. That's the risk you take.

Just like when some people started what seemed like a daily "Da Bears" thread. Man they took a lot of shit afterwards but deserved it.

I'm on the Phils (pained me to go against Chop's big play), but think that people giving Chip sh*t are out of line.

Never be afraid to take a stand against another `capper. There are at least six ways to wager every game (side, spread, total). Nobody will get them all right or all wrong, hopefully everyone will cash 54+ percent of the time if the flat wager. FYI, top of the 7th and PHI is up by 2 with a runner on second.

Edited portion: Sorry, make it third.

Cy Young

Nope...

That is a "Rookie Hall-of-Famer"...that knows how to pitch at the big league level already...

Otherwise how could one explain his efficiency?

I mean 100 pitches in 4.1 innings is F'NG impressive...

Cannot put a price on that value.

You hang 'em...

Then bang 'em...

Ricky Nolasco is going to the bump tomorrow night....

Someone needs to start 4 threads about it...

Okay....finally....this was the point I was trying to make. To me it has nothing to do with the play......rather that 3 threads were created. When I brought that up, I was cursed at and told to fuck off.

I hear ya. It's just that when a capper I respect makes such a big play on a game, I want to make sure I'm not missing something.

so making 3 threads stating this kid is going to warrant -250 lines in a couple weeks is taking a stand, or just being ignorant?

WELL IT'S DEFINITELY TAKING A STAND...ALTHOUGH HIS PRESENTATION WAS TOO MUCH. I DON'T THINK I WOULD SAY IGNORANT BUT THERE IS NO WAY I WOULD EVER TAKE A ROOKIE PITCHER IN HIS DEBUT ON NATIONAL TV AGAINST A DECENT STARTER WHO HAS PITCHED BEFORE. ESPECIALLY IF MY BEST HITTER WAS GIVEN THE NIGHT OFF.STILL IF YOU'RE NOT POSTING ANY PLAYS DO YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO BE NASTY TO THOSE WHO DO? THOSE THAT FOLLOW BLINDLY...YOU HAVE TO TAKE THE GOOD WITH THE BAD... WITH THAT SAID TEX...WHAT ARE YOUR PLAYS TODAY AND WHY ARE YOU PICKING THOSE TEAMS?WHAT IS YOUR YR TO DATE RECORD AND WHERE ARE THOSE PICKS POSTED?

I have not read this thread since yesterday.

Dont know whats been said.

Im sure most of it was not nice. LOL

If there is any of you that defended me in this thread I say thanks.

Dont want to dwell on yesterday. I dont want this game to cause me to lose anymore money than it did.

Dont want this to carry over.

I just need to move on to the rest of the season.

Good luck everyone.

It was a bad call. It was a bad pick.

I had the Hamels part right, but I put too much on the rookie.
