I am not risking 90 million on a game.

They should have just paid him as they eventually will. If dak is worth whatever he signed for so is Lamar.

If you thought the Kyler Murray deal was a joke, wait till you see this contract..

Zero cap space for the next decade lol

If you are one of his team mates, what do you think about him not travelling to Cincy for the game?

Every talking head former player on ESPN says they should pay him, but about 100% of NFL front offices and most fans know he isn't worth what he is asking...not even close. Denver and AZ are locked for years. Jackson is a great football player and a below average throwing QB. His running ability gets him in the top ten of QB's overall, but you want to guarantee hundreds of millions for that? The tipping point in that decision is the guy is a single digit Wonderlic scorer.

No thanks. I'd let his ass walk
Agreed.

Ravens are better off with Huntley and all that cap space.

I almost feel sorry for the fans of whatever team that ends up locking in a one dimensional QB for a gazillion dollars who is already showing signs of wear and tear.

Kyler Murray is a poor man's Lamar and look how great that turned out.

But this is the NFL, some stupid shortsighted GM will do it thinking this splash move will put them over the top.

You can probably dig up a few Lamar threads where I was public enemy #1 with my views with Lamar. You can't pay this guy top tier QB money. He won't lead you to a SB

No way they should sign him long term.
Everybody saying he is not a good passer, but, to boot, he has lost a full step, used to be spectacularly quick, nimble against pass rush defenders and then pull away with elite elite speed.
NO MORE.
Keeping him with the Franchise Label will be a mess, a 17 game distraction, they should trade him to some stupid team.

He will get paid

If guys like Kyler, Watson and Wilson -- objectively worse QBs -- can get those insane contracts, no reason Lamar won't get something comparable -- even if it's not from Baltimore

They are dumb enough so yeah
Of course how much more than he could have gotten from Baltimore?
These QBs wanna suck out every penny and not understand the impact
Can't blame the fans for knowing the impact
Sometimes you gotta pay up with guys like Mahomes but hopefully you can get them to understand to take a little less
lol GL with that though

Not sure another team wants to reinvent their whole offense to accommodate Lamar and his big contract.

There are enough teams desperate for a new QB if Lamar becomes available

Frankly I think he stays in Baltimore and gets his money. What else are they gonna do?

Lamar would have been nuts to play in that game.

Look what happen to RG3.

I mean even look what happen to Isaiah Thomas.(little guard from the celtics) He went from a possible 100 million dollar contract to 10 day contracts to out of the league over a hip.

Protect u and ur family. This in the end is just a game. Not life or death.

I agree with Fruit. He is getting paid if not by Baltimore than someone else...if he blows out the knee then he would have been fucked.

Of cours they do. Other than Greeny and those idiot ,big hair, window dressing female reporters it's all ex jocks on the shows.
They will be all over him scoring a big contract.
I thought the Bears franchise was the worst until those clowns from Cleveland signed Watson knowing he had allegations.
