He is delusional to think he should get more
They were willing to go 160-180 before but because the Browns overpaid Watson he wants that
Yeah that fucked up the market

But Lamar should 100% be paid more than Watson so can't blame him

Neither of them can lead a team to a SB , so I wouldn't budge off the Ravens original offer. Hundley would give them a better shot imo anyway. In Lamar's case , not to many teams are going to reconfigure an entire offense for his skillset. Especially now that he has less tread on those tires.

I think they’ll cave assuming Lamar is healthy this season….which I suppose is a pretty bold assumption

Ravens definitely better with Lamar though. His ability to run really opens up their offense, similar to Allen

Kinda whack

Could argue not smart for Lamar to play, but doubt it affects their season at all. Lamar's a gamer
He is an absolute idiot to be gambling with leaving 150+ million guaranteed on the table...

He is SOL if he gets a major injury...hopefully he was smart enough to take out a big insurance policy but for some reason i doubt that.

Did I just read this correctly . Did you just say Hundley gives them a better chance to win ?

I need to know this before getting a new phone .

You talk as if configuring an offense to match a QBs talents is an abnormal thing.

Any well run team in football is going to configure their team to the skills of the QB

They do it for Jackson , Hurts , even white guys like Allen and Brady as hard as that is for you to believe

You are right to some degree but so is red.
Jackson is a different QB than just about any other and the way they run that offense
There are other running QBs but most are better passers than runners and they don't play like a college team
And this kind of offense has not been proven to be better than a pass first offense. Wilson, Mahomes and even Allen are all great passers who can run. Jackson is a good passer who the offense is set up to run much more than any other

I wouldn’t call Allen a great passer . He has an incredible arm but his accuracy is very average by pretty much every metric

He has been improving though so maybe that changes

I can't imagine paying a QB that kind of money that you know will never lead you to a Super Bowl.
