Keep being reminded of this "MIT BJ" garbage and how far they have gone with that bullshit with a couple books and movies................when in reality, a group of 20-25 slot and video poker pros made more money than they probably did, and did so in much more funny and unique way and with a truly great cast of characters compared to the dullness of the MIT nerds.
Regarding the Blog feature
My advice if you really dislike it is to try to ignore that it exists, similar to the calendar or members list functions. To be honest I have no idea where the blog idea originated, one day it just appeared, quite possibly as part of a VBulletin upgrade. I was never consulted, advised or knew that we would have a blog feature in early July or whenever it was it appeared on the site.
Regarding Private Messenger or PMs. Like I promised I will bring them up with Mangement (new General Manager Marty Jensen) after The Bash and express that some posters are in favor of having one on the site. The decision is not mine, and to again be honest I doubt if my recommendation will matter one way or another. This subject has never been received well in the past by management and Tech Support.
Time will tell.

Private messaging, and believe me if we had it this page would be full of ppl bitching about spammers, unwanted poker money exchange requests, somebodys GOY for sale,etc. They had it another site and they damn near killed each other over it...The whole day was spent trying to blame somebody for the latest spam msg going around or crying over who hasnt pd the $5 they borrowed the day before...

I liked the idea and made an effort to try and help it take off as you did. But it seems from the lack of responses our efforts were in vain. I was trying to write more in-depth "article" type blogs, but if no one reads or responds to them it is not worth the time or effort. Thus, my conclusion.
