I wasn't comparing them. I think AD is much better than KLove... but KLove has put up some very impressive numbers also. Just arguing that someone is better than Lebron right now. That is super crazy.

I never said AD was better then LJ although some people are starting to say that.
I said in my 1st post of this thread that I still think LJ is number 1.
But AD is certainly #2, and he is going to be #1 pretty soon.
And he is going to be #1 for a long time.
And LJ is going to be #1 for a short time.

This isn't about who is better right now. This is about who I want on my team for the next decade.

Lmao!!! You are such a homer it's crazy. AD is definitely a good player, but he's no Lebron.

Yes, the New Orleans Pelicans, who no one in the entire world cares about other than homers would laugh about getting Lebron James. Your homerism is out of control.

If my homerism is out of control find someone reputable that disagrees with my opinion on this issue and find someone reputable who agrees with you.

If you started a poll asking would the Pelicans trade AD for LJ I think it would no 90% to 10%

Lol, what a strawman. There is no debate out there as to whether the Pelicans would trade Davis for Lebron, so I can't find you anyone that agrees with your opinion. Because there is not a sane person out there that would ever imagine the Cavs trading Lebron for anyone.

Can you please show me a link where I said AD was a better player then LJ.
How can you read a post and think I said the exact opposite of what I said.

So I make a post where I say LJ is better then AD and somehow you come to the conclusion that I said the opposite.

When you claim that they would not trade AD for Lebron it implies that you think he is a better player than Lebron. Your overconfidence in this whole conversation is saying that AD is or will be very soon better than Lebron. You are bat shit crazy.

The argument isn't about Lebron's performance in the NBA Finals. It's about Anthony Davis or Lebron James.

Already said if u factor in age that Davis is much more valuable - we'll see this year - AD must really establish himself this year - I also think ur see decline in Lebron's game starting this season - and I don't think Cleveland wins a title and the blame goes on Dion or Kyrie

I am seeing talks all the time lately where all the talking heads on all the networks are saying things like if they had an NBA draft where every player in the entire NBA would be in the draft AD would be the #1 pick.

Im hearing comments like that almost daily.

If there was an NBA draft and every single player in the NBA was in it and any team not named Cleveland had the #1 pick AD would be the first pick.

Are u aware that every dominant center in the history of the NBA has rings outside of Ewing who kept losing to Jordan - it's kinda an important position

No it does not imply that.
It implies that he will be better for the next 10 years then Lebron, but I can make that statement and still say Lebron is a better player right now.

I think Peyton Manning is better then Andrew Luck.
But if I was the GM of the Broncos I would trade Manning for Luck so fast it would make your head spin.

I think Lebron's numbers will go down this season. He has a point guard now and will touch the ball less than he did in Miami. Plus Kevin Love is absolute money, much better than Chris Bosh, one of the softest human beings in history.

You act as if im the only person on Earth saying what im saying.
Just do some research.
Just read the article on post #1 of this thread.
The article on post #1 is basically saying the same thing im saying.

It basically says that LJ is still the king but AD will pass him up soon.

THere are 1000 articles just like that one if you do a simple google search.

What promise land is he referring to? When did Lebron become Shaq, TD or Kobe? he played on a stacked team and got anal raped 5-0 in the finals and for all practical purposes lost the prior year too in G6

all practical purposes thats great.

Can I use that and tell people NE went 19-0 in '07?

There seems to be a whole lot of prezumption that AD will not only be healthy for the next 10 years but that he will prove to be the kind of teammate that can lead a team to multiple Finals.

I can recall similar talk surrounding 21-22yr old Dwight Howard...21pts 14rbs 3blks average (over 82 games rather than six games).

Would the 2007-8 Lakers been smart to trade 29 yearold Kobe Bryant for such a 'dominant' player?

I would say Absolutely No. Same applies for the Absurdly Hypothetical trade possibility of LBJ for AD in November 2014
