I follow the Clippers and Blake extremely close.. Hes a very good player, overhyped definitely but better than a lot of you are claiming he is.. His hype is all about his
crazy hops and insane dunking ability so of course he's going to overhyped. I think anyone who follows him closely knows hes not a great player or top 5, btw who said top 5?
He's probably more like top 20-25, but he has upside. A poor mans Dwight Howard, poor man cause of his lack of defense and shot blocking.
His weakness is creating his own shot, I've said this before he is pretty useless when he has the ball in his hands more than 10 feet from the basket. He hardly ever does anything successful.. Blake does have some post moves, but hes not consistent with it and I think he could work on that..
Whats this 22/7 you guys are talking about.. He avg'd 20.9 and 10.9 Rebs a game this season, if you dont think he's a good rebounder you are blind, whomever says that is ignorant. He was a 20-10 machine this season, just about every game he had at least 20 and 10 and I'm really not sure how you can call a guy who is a 20/10 machine trash or very overrated?
His defense needs work no doubt, hes not horrible but with his height he should be a better shot blocker. Free Throw wise he's horrible..
The Kid still has upside, he's not done developing.
