Disagree. In business I would affiliate myself with people who have a proven product and can get the job done instead of people who can't get it done. Like I said, it reflects negatively on therx that they are a pretty bad book by everyone's account and are still being backed. You don't do business with people like that.

Wil, you may have to make a special case with BOS and drop them. All of the problems that people have reflect poorly on therx for backing them. At what point does therx's image start suffering.

Dr03....This site is the best by far out there, and continues to grow. It is not because of the Advertisers it is because of the posters that are here, they share there Knowlege. Whatever you tell me to think wil. I just have a problem when you say not to trust any moderators regarding advertisers and endorsing them, and the very next day you come out and endorse BOS in this thread. I also did answer that question.

And believe it or not, when you or one of the mods says something about a book, I expect them to be honest. Are my expectations too high? Yea I got no qualms with the site. I just don't see the business sense in partnering up with another company that is trouble.

When you watch Monday night football do you think that the NFL or ABC agrees with all 100 sponsers on a particular broadcast? Hell no!!!!! One ad will be Coke, the next ad Pepsi. Then you have Bud Light, then you have Miller lite. Chevy then Ford. The NFL dont give a shit about what car you buy. They just take the money and there is nothing wrong with that!!

Its your job to figure whats best for you Ford or Chevy. Not the NFLs.

Go ahead and disagree but the truth is BOS is a proven product with 10's of thousands of players and they get the job done everday. Players bet and player are paid --- bottom line.

I beg to differ who is everyone's account? -- you CANNOT speak for everyone. You have no idea what kind of people run BOS right now. They are cooperative and professional at all times. We do business with BOS and personally I have no problem doing so.

you're right...to an extent. but if a company started to engage in dishonest business practices you know full well they'd be dropped as an advertiser real quick, even by the big boys such as the NFL or ABC. that was the whole point of this thread...

although, if what wil says is true and BOS has no affiliation with that site, aside from some ex-affiliate agent idiot who did it on his own accord, then this thread was much ado about nothing. except for an interesting discussion.

As far as mods go -- does anyone take us seriously when we endorse an advertiser book?

Is this a test or something? Pop quiz? Now we need a poll, does anyone believe wil in this thread, and you wil have your answer.

Typical Frogese - twisting the truth. I asked you if you thought anyone took Rx. moderators serious when they endorse advertiser books. Natrully I can't get a straight answer. I never said moderator endorsements of advertiser books (or any other) were not valid - I simply asked if posters took them seriously.. How many times have mods been accused of shilling if they prop an advertiser book? Many posters take such props with a grain of salt but that does not make them less valid despite how you may want to twist the issue.

I'd say the best move would be to dump BOS, just too many problems. Not worth the headaches. You can make just as much online through google and not have to worry about the headaches.

And I still don't see how this site can be so expensive to run.

To be fair to JayC, I think he wrote one column period for the other site, and it was a one and gone.. don't believe he writes for, or is paid by, them anymore.

Not going to happen -- there are zero problems except blown out of porportion threads like this.

Then go for it. For us all of our advertiser books are worth whatever headaches we have to endure.

And I still don't see how this site can be so expensive to run

That is because you hav never been involved in running one.

Well if that is the case and he no longer works there I apolojize. With that being said, why does he have such a hard-on for this site? Why dont he split his complaints 50/50 at each place instead of 100/0?

I take that back!!!!!! I just went to the website that you work for and noticed a BETMIL banner ad. I guess he caved in after all!!!!! Why dont you go to your employer that you work for and bring up this same BS to them?

I dont want to hear your Betmil and BOS are 2 different books bullshit either. They are the same damm 2 books!!!!!! I have threads that I can pull up where you agree that they are the same. Would you like for me to pull them up? STFU

Hey Choptalk, check your facts.

I do not work for EOG. I have never been employed by EOG. I originally agreed to write a column for EOG for my own pleasure, not for money. I wrote one column for them for their first day where I promptly announced it would be my last.

I have personally, verbally berated Ken for whoring himself out to that shit book BOS as well as Millenium. I think he has made a huge mistake. I was going to write a long post talking about it but I got sidetracked with something else. When I finally had time, I realized nobody cares so why should I waste my breath.

But thanks for trying to change the subject. The subject is not whether the RX is going to take these crooks as an advertiser, that has been long decided. I was referring to Wilheim's statement that they have paid all of their players, it's simply not true.

If the player goes to his grave without coming forward again, it doesn't change the facts. They can't hide behind the new management thing since Carruthers the CEO has been there for years, and has to have known about this. It's too bad he was too busy being Gary's bitch instead of a man, otherwise maybe he would have done something or stepped down.

The bottom line is BOS is built on stolen money and there are outstanding debts out there.

The forum is the only part of the site where costs incur. Anyone have any idea how much these advertisers are shelling out?

What is not straight about that answer? Thanks for waking up warlord, who is next wake up call? Charlie Chan? Has more of an impact if you have a poster with more than 20 posts come after me.

None of these words are twisted, nor is the truth. These are actual posts.
