haha, thanks for the props guys, but can hardly take any credit after the way the 1st one ran.....

but glad a few of you hung in there for the 2nd one....i really didnt feel they would fail on both races, as solid as his tips usually are......of course, would have been much nicer if the higher price got there....but im real happy to make the comeback with this one......

Thanks Bucs. I had $10 Win and Place on both and a $4 double. Bet $44 and got back $45. So it is a $1 profit plus the 2% rebate on each dollar wagered. Best of luck in the future on all of the races. I know you are near Ellis, do you remember or did you ever go to Audubon/Henderson/Riverside? The old Harness track that kept changing names. I used to go to Louisville Downs harness from 1985-1992 or whenever they closed at the same horses always went Louisville/Lexington and Henderson. Wonder if you remember Eddie Morgan Jr. Roy Finn, Roger Culliper, Gary Guy, the Loney's, the Conrad's and many others? Great memories for me.

oh most definitely, went there many times...by the time it became Riverside downs, the crowds were small and it was pretty cheap races, but still fun.....but when it was Audubon they had some nice racing....my dad (god rest his soul) had a good friend who owned a few harness horses and he had some good ones...we went to Louisville many times with him to watch his horses run....

Great times Bucs. May your DAD RIP... I am 38 now so I was only 14 in 1985 but my uncle used to train cheap Thoroughbreds and I used to always go with him to Churchill/Ellis/Turfway/River and even Beulah. Anyway I was really into harness for some reason. I remember all the Bluegrass horses that were mostly pacers and DR Luel P Overstreet owned them all. You remember Dorunrun Bluegrass from the later 80's? I think he made it huge and became the first pacer to ever break 1:50 at night at the Medowlands. Back then though in the mid 80s, Robert Nixon, Eddie Morgan and then Greg Haston were 3 of my favorites. Walter Haynes Jr also and I know he is still around Hoosier and Indiana Downs. So sad that Nixon and Haston both were killed in car wrecks. I remember Robert Nixon was the king on Saturdays with Champagne Skipper Winning the Invite about ever 2 out of 3 times. Then Dorunrun Bluegrass took over. I remember Eddie Morgan had 2 sons that drove. I know of course Anthony is now one of the best but Eddie had an older son whose name I forget that was here. I can't remember Anthony driving here. He must have been to young and just missed. I Love the half mile tracks and still make it up to Lebanon Ohio every now and then. Did you see they had a bad fire around Christmas with about 45 horses killed and 2 people I think it was. I was with at the time my girl friend in around 1999 and we went to Aztar and rode by Riverside and (Porkchop Hunter I think is his last name) was there I think driving as a training track. Just seeing if you remember some of those old names? Again, good luck on all future horse races and games.
