Talk about BRUTAL.....my buddy comes in today, says did u happen to play the Bluegrass Stakes at Keeneland last week.....?
I said, no, didnt even watch it....he was at the track, and sure enough, the horse his buddy gave him here, they went ahead and moved him up to the BG stakes, since they thought they had him in form.....now he didnt run but 4th at Gulfstream, but they still felt they had a good horse....so they bring him to Keeneland, and he wins a 3/4 million dollar race at 40-1
Not even sure i would have remembered the name if i was watching, but i think i would have, had i had a form in front of me, and saw his last race.....but he said they had the horse ready, and i guess they did, just a race later........
buddy said he put 10/10 on it, just cause they told him the time before to play it, got back over 500 on it........crazy
ok guys, for anyone who cares, i did recieve another horse today.....this is a horse they are running at Belmont on Friday, in Race #3.....the horse is Wesley, and he's listed at 3/1 in morning line, tied for 2nd fav.....its only a 6 horse field, so he wont be great odds im sure, but was told they do expect him to run very well...
I told ya i'd share em when i get em, and if u are playing, might be worth a little wager....i think Belmont starts later on Friday, so i might be home in time for race, but not sure, so just in case i posted it now.....you can look back in the thread, and see why i like this guy's horses he gives me....they are always either his son's horse, or his buddy's.......they dont all win, but as a rule, with very rare exceptions, they run very well, and often at decent odds.....
If i had stayed on his last horse, just one more race, we'd have had a nice 40-1 shot in the Bluegrass...ugh

well he ran 2nd, paid 3.70, 2.50
didnt get to see the race, so i dont know if he got beat bad or nipped, but still, i'll take it...very small win, but a win still....i always back em up with a little more on place, and even a little more on show, when he gives em to me, cuz they are usually decent paying horses across the board, rarely the 3.20, 2.20, 2.20 types.......
