No need to apologize. You got good information she was ready to run well and she did. Definitely live and at a decent price. That's the way horse racing is. She just couldn't quite get to the first two horses but still had plenty of run left in her and the jock did a good job although he had to wait down the backstretch as she was trapped on the rail behind another horse and outside as well. He was patient, took her to the outside on the turn and she was flying down the lane. You'll get the next one!
It will be interesting to see where the owner and trainer decide to place her next time out. This race was an allowance race for 3 year old fillies going 1 & 1/16 miles on the turf. No doubt they will look for conditions in about 3 weeks. Will they lower her or raise her level in an allowance condition? Will they shorten her up or stretch her out? Not sure there are many longer races for 3 year old fillies on the turf this early in the season. We'll see!
well for what its worth, i got another horse from him today, in fact, he got the call while he was there at my work.....
they are still at Gulfstream, and he said they have a good horse in the 8th, named Stately Victor, who is the #3 horse.....said they really expect good effort from this horse....he was listed at 8-1 ML but i see he is 3/1 right now in the betting......
he also said to play a small DD with his other horse in the 9th, Inca King.......
They really feel both horses are gonna run well....
Like I always say, I am just passing this info along, hoping to help...the guy has done very well for me, and i only get maybe 5-6 a year from him, so its worth it to me to try.......
They are rarely fav's and a guy could do alright just betting them to show, as they usually pay close to 4.00 or more to show on most of the ones he gives me...thats more than u get on some fav's to win.....and he has a solid record for sure of being in the money.....
Its worth a small play if u wanna have a little fun on the ponies during the weekday today..
there is about 25 minutes to post.....i got home as fast as i could ......
