Thanks for answering my question. one thing I've got a wonder is how motivated were the Auburn tigers after the big win over Oregon. But I guess like they say, that's why they play the games. We shall see. best of luck!
As I stated in another thread, Tulane backers were lucky and Houston backers were not. But not a great wager for either side IMO because the linesmakers were pretty much spot on.
As far as motivation goes, to me it is impossible to judge motivation - at least statistically. How do I know Auburn wasn't trying as hard as they could have? Maybe they were trying their best and Tulane was up to the task. Or, maybe Tulane had a good scheme. I think many handicappers have a good feel for that stuff, but I don't. So, I stick to the statistics and assume that everyone was giving 100% effort. But I also understand that they don't play the games on paper, and statistics don't tell the whole story. But no matter what you use, if you have a good system, and it is proven over time, then you should stick by it, and use the information that you see and hear to help.
