As for Tulane/Houston. I think Tulane defense is much better than Houston. The stats are somewhat skewed due to Houston having played Oklahoma and Washington State. But even after adjusting for schedule, there is a big difference between them. So, you get a good home team with better D laying reasonable number. I look at Tulane and how they fared against Auburn as a good indicator of how good their D is, and it was pretty good that night.

Where this could go wrong is that Houston D may be better than what I think due to playing two high powered offenses.

Just my take.
