Have you ever had a feeling during a bet that you would surely WIN or LOSE during the game and it came to fruition?

I am not talking about being ahead or behind by 20 points but a sixth sense that told you the results in advance so to speak...

For me, it does happen from time to time and I just can't explain it. What I do know is that I am superstitious as hell and I refuse to answer the phone when I have a bet going because it usually ends up with me losing a big one...

Also, I avoid just about everybody and everything until the games as over...

Specifically, I do remember being behind in a Football Game by 3 touchdowns and I felt that I would win my bet and I did...

That doesn't happen very often but boy did it feel good!

Anyone else as peculiar as me, lol?

I believe if my memory is correct I was watching a Sunday night baseball game.at the casino colonial here in Costa Rica. Cleveland and Seattle was playing I had seattle they were winning like 11-1 or something like that and this guy that was sitting at the table with me said you got this one in the bag. I just couldnt help but think I was going to lose this bet. I dont need to go any futher you know what happened, and I"m sure alot of you will remember this game.

that actually works for me from time to time.

another time me and my roommate about 17 years ago had some coin on a nfl game that wasnt going to well . i went to take a shower thinking we were cooked . well , our team made a huge comeback while i was in the shower.

my roomie made me stay in there until the game was over.

we won the bet.

so, go take a shower once in a while . you might be surprised what happens.

how bout taking a calculator about 2 minutes into the 3rd quarter and dividing the number of points by minutes played to see if your total is on pace to go over or under. and then keep doing it every 2 or 3 minutes.

i cant be the only one who's done this..

LMAO...I will do a similar thing...I will cover the team I am betting on's points with my hand during updates....or in baseball, I will only watch when the team I am betting on is in the field..until i get a lead,lol...

I don't use a calculator, but I do keep track of the pace as well...Every damn minute!

dante you are not weird i do the same thing for updates. when someone comes in the room they thing i am nuts.i thought i was the only one who did that. i only do it for big wagers though.

worldnumberone i did that when i was a teenager my math is great now i can tell you to the fourth decimal what the teams need to average for the remainder of the game.
