sorry but for the controversy surrounding this case, a 2nd and 3rd autopsy will need to be done

it was the final autopsy - it was an "initial finding" - but it did specifically say there was no strangulation or cut off of air - the autopsy needs to have a specific cause of death - cannot be vague - it is going to be the most critical piece of evidence if and when this case goes to trial

Haha Seymour. Tell that to the families of people that died of COVID.

It appears George may have died from a heart attack brought on my intoxicants in his body and not asphyxiation. Still doesn’t really change the fact the cop helped bring it on.

Harder case to prove though.

One thing...

The "tatic"(if that is what you want to call it) is NOT trained by any law enforcement agency...

Why comment and make a dumb statement you yourself stated to not know if true...face)(*^%

Anything to slide an argument in there somewhere.

It's a technique that is taught for certain, brief situations under Minneapolis police policy, but one that is specifically not trained in Wisconsin, according to the DOJ's Defense and Arrest Tactics training guide that's used in law enforcement academies across the state.

it doesn't matter if it was 'final'
the assessment is still subjective
there may not be physical exam findings such as bruising as commonly seen with strangulation, and in this case the autopsy report specifically said no evidence of 'traumatic asphyxiation', which is consistent, but the video evidence is strongly suggestive of positional or compressive asphyxiation, which does not have to have evidence of trauma.

Exactly there is NO police “tactic” that calls for laying a knee on someone’s neck for 8 min.

Nice “attempt” Cheddar.

I meant to say it wasnt final and it was an initial finding - however, the final autospy said there was no asphyxation - basically, the cause of death was the stress of the arrest, heart disease and drugs

this cop has to go to trial and hope there are enough dumb jurors will watch the video and go by the medical finding - I'm sure the heart disease and drugs were factors but the video clearly shows the stepping on the neck is what caused his death

no
you're interpreting it wrong
no traumatic asphyxiation is what it specifically said
there are other types. this is why i mentioned compressive or positional

https://www.cnn.com/2020/06/01/us/george-floyd-independent-autopsy/index.html

shocking :neenee:. compressive asphyxiation on independent autopsy.

Also unfortunately the tactic that the cop was using is a taught method at Minnesota State Police Academy
that fact alone muddy's things even more.

This is going to be an ugly trial, any good defense attorney has enough ammunition to cast a lot of doubt from Floyd dying
due to what was solely done by the cop

The medical examiner’s office statement said Floyd had indications of heart disease including “arteriosclerotic and hypertensive heart disease,” as well as fentanyl intoxication and recent methamphetamine use.

I still think if u sit on the jury and u watch the video - regardless of the legal practice, the heroin, the meth, the heart disease - I still think he will be found guilty - Antifa is getting prepared for the trial already

I would think the jury would still find guilty but would not be surprised at a mistrial and definitely an appeal

Antifa will be out in cities after a verdict. Guilty, not guilty they will be burning cities down either way

Thats another problem. Expedite the trial.

Whatever these groups are behind the protests - antifa or other ones - when this trial starts they will have things in place prepared to cause mayhem if they find him not guilty - in fact, these groups want him to be found not guilty so they can do this - I watched the protests come up my street - majorty of the crowd was little white kids - we hardly have any white people in Miami
