sorry but for the controversy surrounding this case, a 2nd and 3rd autopsy will need to be done
it was the final autopsy - it was an "initial finding" - but it did specifically say there was no strangulation or cut off of air - the autopsy needs to have a specific cause of death - cannot be vague - it is going to be the most critical piece of evidence if and when this case goes to trial
One thing...
The "tatic"(if that is what you want to call it) is NOT trained by any law enforcement agency...
Why comment and make a dumb statement you yourself stated to not know if true...face)(*^%
Anything to slide an argument in there somewhere.

Exactly there is NO police “tactic” that calls for laying a knee on someone’s neck for 8 min. It's a technique that is taught for certain, brief situations under Minneapolis police policy, but one that is specifically not trained in Wisconsin, according to the DOJ's Defense and Arrest Tactics training guide that's used in law enforcement academies across the state.
it doesn't matter if it was 'final'
the assessment is still subjective
there may not be physical exam findings such as bruising as commonly seen with strangulation, and in this case the autopsy report specifically said no evidence of 'traumatic asphyxiation', which is consistent, but the video evidence is strongly suggestive of positional or compressive asphyxiation, which does not have to have evidence of trauma.
noI meant to say it wasnt final and it was an initial finding - however, the final autospy said there was no asphyxation - basically, the cause of death was the stress of the arrest, heart disease and drugs
Also unfortunately the tactic that the cop was using is a taught method at Minnesota State Police Academy
that fact alone muddy's things even more.
This is going to be an ugly trial, any good defense attorney has enough ammunition to cast a lot of doubt from Floyd dying
due to what was solely done by the cop
I still think if u sit on the jury and u watch the video - regardless of the legal practice, the heroin, the meth, the heart disease - I still think he will be found guilty - Antifa is getting prepared for the trial already
Thats another problem. Expedite the trial.
