Back when Nets made that deal with the Celtics for Garnett and pierce or whoever. It was an awful deal. But the Russian dude owned 80% of the team at that time. Now he owns only 51%. He’s not making big basketball decisions anymore. Which is why they are on the rise. Those players I named are good young players and Kyrie and Durant know this. Remove Deangelo Russel at the end of games for those shot makers. These players know basketball. Kyrie had his fling with the Celtics but had his mind on New York since Cleveland.
He wasnt bought into the Celtics way. He was bringing his championship pedigree there. Nets will get the old hungry Kyrie imo. He’s probably the best around the rim finishing guard the NBA has ever seen.
