There's gonna be laughing, alright, but not in the way YOU think. I see Scumboy's former manager, Phil Garner says that Mr. Family Man played golf on occasion when he refused to accompany the team. Scumboy flatly denies it, so one of them is lying. I know who MY money is on...

Bwahahaha, at THIS rate, it's not gonna matter if Mo is finished or not: it's up to 9.5 games and he's doing the reliever's version of Scumboy Clemens: you know, pitch once a week? Funny thing is, the pitching has actually improved, but what the hell happened to that offense that was gonna score 1,000 runs? I've heard people call AR "April-Rod" and "Not May-Rod." Still preparing to laugh, Sport?:aktion033 :missingte :puppy: :lolBIG:

I think everything is fine, it will turn and they will win the AL east by 6 games.

if they lose, they are extra due the next day. if they win, they are showing signs of heating up and you gotta bet them the next day. just keep betting them

It's brilliant thinking like that which causes folks to be seen holding up "Will work for food" signs on the highway. NOTHING is "due" except the mortgage payment. The season is almost 25% over, it's not all that early anymore, and if you bet $100 on every single major league team, you'd be down $1519 betting the Skanks-easily the biggest loser. The only other team down more than a dime is Texas at minus $1014 (Imagine how bad the Skank record would be if you took the Texas games out of their record!). This isn't an aberration, either, they've been money burners (although not to this extent) for years. You pay a heavy price for the name on the front of that uniform, but you keep on thinking they're gonna make up over 15 units-or 9.5 games...:missingte :puppy:

Yeah, you're right stick a fork in him . He's done.
This thread will be a good laugh in a couple of months.

You still getting ready to laugh, Funny Guy? Actualy, it's looking as if it it will be a moot point about Mo, doesn't it? Btw, how often is he pitching these days?:aktion033 :missingte :dancefool :toast: :puppy:

Oh, yeah, I'm sure he and the Skanks are just yucking it up-and it's been so clear in his results since we started this little "chat" that I'm wrong, right? :puke1: :nopityA: :nono5:

The important thing in gambling is just to have fun. I think if the yankees are your team, you have to support them with your money. If not, you have to bet them anyway because they are going to win about 12 in a row soon and you want to catch them on that streak when it begins and then double up every day

Ive been a huge Yankee fan since I was 5 but have never bet on them in my life. There is simply no value since the line is always inflated.

Yeah clemens is great. 40 something year old guy pitching for a team that wont make the playoffs.

Neato

And Helton wont come over to the yanks becuase he has a no trade clause. Get this-- Todd wants to be traded to a team that actually has a chance at winning.

Well, it's been a "couple of months", and, although ERA for relievers can be deceptive, it DOES mean something, and Rivera's ERA has never been as high as it is in the 2nd half of the season since he became a closer. He's on pace for about TWENTY-ONE saves! You still laughing, Dumbo?:missingte :aktion033  :puppy: :dancefool :toast: :lolBIG:

Yes it's been a little over two months since your moronic post on May 7th and since ERA DOES mean something (to quote yourself) his ERA is 1.49 since then.

In his last 24.1 innings he has:

Let up 19 hits
Struck out 23
Walked 2
8 saves
0 blown saves

What's really funny is calling someone's career finished the first week in May. Now that is good for a laugh.

Looks like that bad start has really stuck with him . :missingte

So, what, the shit start doesn't count? Whatever he has done in the last two months doesn't change the fact that he has the highest ERA of his career at more than the halfway point, and if he's on pace for 21 saves, he's not exactly racking up them up, is he? Are you going to continue to make a fool of yourself and be seen stating in public that this version of Rivera is the same as in years past? This should be good...:toast: :puppy: :dancefool :lolBIG:

The only fool is the one who declared arguably the greatest relief pitcher in history as finished after a bad 11 innings to start the season.

... but the Yankees didn't give him a contract extension this year, so we know what they think ...

... but hey, you know more than Joe Torre or Brian Cashman, I guess.

I didn't declare him "finished", you no-reading prick: what I said was, "Throw in the fact that more than a little evidence that Rivera isn't automatic anymore..." to which you started calling "silly." And, like I said, if you wanna pretend that he's the same 'ole Rivera, when stats from more than a half a season say otherwise, then you go right ahead, Birdbrain...

Excellent point! They threw truckloads of cash at a 44 year old who'd hadn't pitched in 9 months, but to their still "automatic" closer, they said, aw, HELL no! Maybe Dumbo can explain that, but, seeing as how he couldn't find his dick with two hands and a road map, I kind of doubt it. And, btw, how's that experiment with Scumboy working out? 2-4 record, and they've lost 6 of his 8 starts. SMOOTH... :missingte

Aww, those stats thrown right in your face must have really struck a nerve. I can see by the keyboard rage starting up once again.

A lot has changed since May 7th , hasn't it?

First of all, don't try to change the subject, you're a lying sack of shit, as you tried to attribute something to me that I didn't say. Anybody who labours through this thread can see you're a lying pig ******. But, as far as things, changing, yeah, they have changed. Back then, you were 5.5 games out, and now, you're TEN games out, Jagoff....:missingte :dancefool :toast: :puppy: :lolBIG:

Btw, you didn't answer Cincy's question: why would the notoriously generous Yankees open their vault to Clemens, but refuse to do so to the Greatest Reliever of All Times, who also happens to be 7 years younger? What's the matter, Dickweed, cat got your crotch?:monsters-
