Looks like somebody just figured out the two plays I'm watching for tonight as the vig on Cin & Ari just took a dive the opposite way that they were going before at my book. Already on Seattle over at 8- and hoping for my last two to fall in line before this evening.

Took some of that Det over this morn as well, still blowing 10-20 mph straight out. Last night was sweet, nice when you can cash in by the 3rd.

He's covering Carpenter's spot in the "rotation" temporarily, until Carpenter comes back. He's also already made one start in place of Carpenter, something which was known well in advance of the game in question. Furthermore, he has previous MLB experience; as such, don't see why he wouldn't be on the list.

For everybody's information on Bones' SS the "Game Line Move" tab is a little off. Cells F24 and G24 aren't calculating the correct values as they should read "=SUM(B24/(B24+D24))" and "=SUM(D24/(B24+D24))" respectively. Make this adjustment and you'll see a pretty high percentage on one column that may be satisfactory for the day. glta

Actually, columns F & G are all off by 1 row.

Pops,
question for you or anybody else that can answer.

am looking at line move tab on todays sheet and dont understand how the numbers are calculated.

example of what i mean.

am looking at the 8 total column and it shows the record of 10 overs 9 unders
then in the boxes below there is a -1.5 box which shows 1 over and o unders
below that there is a box -0.5 which shows 3 overs and 4 unders
below that there is a box 0 which shows 8 overs and 9 unders
below that there is a box 0.5 which shows 1 over and 5 unders

so the way am reading this is if the total is 8 and moves -1.5 then the record for that is 1 over and 0 unders.

what i cant figure out is how the total column of 10 overs and 9 unders is calculated considering the box that shows 0 has a record of 8 o and 9 u
so wouldnt the total column for 8 be 8 and 9 and not 10 and 9?

I hope you can understand what am trying to ask, this really is why its hard to try and ask questions about the sheet because its really hard to phrase the questions. If we were in the same room, you could probably answer it in a split second.
thanks

according to the spreadsheet, when games are played at a humidity of between 50 and 65, the unders are 42-14.

show you and easy trick to look at the data for any number. for example on the -1- you show a 2 for Overs. double click on that number 2 and it will show you the details for every game in that catagory. but to answer your questions. all line moves are based off the open at don best. so if a line opened at 10- anc closed at 9 it would be a -1.5 line move. i this case a small sample but 66% of the time those that bet the line down by a -1.5 were wrong.

Thanks Pops for the trick, pretty neat.
Still a little confused thou because am still trying to figure out why the record for the total 8 is differnt then the 0 column under the 8 total.
I would think if there was no move then they should match up with the same record.
also thanks for the list of games that fall under the humidity range.
One other thing, why did you go over on wash and colorado when those numbers are really good favoring the under?
Gotta say these sheets have got just about every bit of info you could ever need, about the only thing missing is when the players took a dump and what time they went to bed, lmfaooooo.
Great job to you and your team of guys who put this thing together. Thanks
cd
