First of all Joe Morgan played with the Major Leagues and we did not
He is black and I am not
So he defineatly knows more about this issue than me
I mean just look at the astros roster
They are a team based on pitching but I have no idea how they got this far
Look at their crappy rotation
Bradon Backe- he sucks whens the last time he had a 1.12 era like Bob Gibson
Andy Pettite- sure hes pretty good and left handed but so is Dontrell Willis and he can hit too
Roy Oswalt- pure white trash so overated
His era was nearly 3
Dump him sign Darren Oliver and maybe youll win the World Series next year
Roger Clemens- you gotta be joking
He won a Cy Young in what 1985? I was 3 years old! Its a racially biast election anyway

All Joe Morgan did was state the obvious. As I watched the game last night, I thought the same thing to myself. This was not a racially motivated comment, but a show of concern. How can we get the african american male back involved with game of baseball. Instead of all of you guys jumping all over Joe Morgan for his comments, let's try and figure out a solution an get more black communities involved with baseball.:drink:

There's a whole lot of racism in the world, but MLB is serious the LAST place I'd ever look .... there are so many great players from so many countries with so many different ethnicities that this article is just silly.
MLB owners (not named Marge) care about 1 thing - winning. Hell, teams even take crack heads, white and black alike, like Howe and Strawberry just to better their odds.

I am sick and tired of ignorant black people playing this damn race card. get over it. Black athletes would rather play BBall and football instead of baseball. Is it totally out of the realm of possibility for white people to dominate a sport? Lord knows black people have their basketball, and football is relatively split.
