I think Baseball investing in inner City's with fields, camps and such to help get back the youth's love for baseball would be a great thing all around.

Last week on Prime Time TV at UAB, where the stadium had less than 10,000 fans inside. You could have walked in a minute before game time and sat at the 50 yard line. I really get tired of these people crying about race when it comes to coaching and Player rosters. Why is all the NBA rosters filled with Black Players. Why don't the Joe Morgans of the world say something about that. Why didn't anybody cause a uproar over John Thompsons Hoya Paranoya teams in the 80's and 90's No way that piece of shit would allow a white boy to play on his squad. Nobody questions these things

As far as questioning blacks in basketball, the best players make it so what's to question? The same is true for baseball.... so questioning as a racism isn't fair either. But I don't believe that is How it is being questioned.
It's simple if baseball wants the best game and best athletes it wouldn't hurt to piut moneyu int he inner city's.

the point is he did get away with it. Can you imagine if that was the attitude at anothe rUniversity and the White coach wouldn't recruit Blacks. he would be crucified. As far as the Balck players in the NBA, I really don't have a problem with it either or if the roster is nearly full. They probably are better, but on the other foot, what is so wrong that the white coaches might be more qualified or ", damn shouldn't say this", that the white coach might be better. Athletes in general are admitted with lesser scores (Sat, GPA, etc) because they bring "Special Talents"=$$$ to the University. Drama, Music etc receive the same benefits. Minorities are admitted with lesser scores as part of basic affirmative action. Unless a university is cutting off admisssion numbers per freshman class, (many do) it does not affect other applicants; irregardless of race or ethnicity.
