Biased? Swisher .250 ,29 hr, 82 rbi 371 obp 498 slugging .980 fpct

werth .268 36 hr 99 rbi 373 obp 506 slugging and struckout 156 times .988 fpct

so as stated werth is slightly better and remember where he hits in the line up compaired to swish...hitting behind howard gave him many more hitting situations then swish had hitting 7th behind Cano.

Ok, if you honestly think Werth and Swisher are close, i'm not even going to try to argue with you. Same goes with Ryan Howard and Tex.

For the guy who said the yanks are going to have fun with the Phils bullpen, Ask the dodgers how that worked out. They were saying the same dumb stuff.

Evenly matched? Not quite

Tex vs Howard= I'll take Tex by far better glove, switch hitter
Cano vs Utley= I'll say Utley better glove(sometimes) offense slightly better
Jeter vs Rollins= jeter do I even need to explain?
a-rod vs Feliz= a-rod...another no brainer
Posada vs ruiz= go with a push on this one they both have their moments
Swish vs werth= another close one I'll give to werth
melky vs victrino= close one have to push this also
Damon vs Ibanez= goes to raul he covers more ground but damon has post
season experience like no other philly outfielder and a
comparable bat for power..close one here too.
Bullpen= by far NY...hughes, joba, coke, marte, robertson, aceves, gaudin,
and of course...MO
DH= Don't care who philly puts there NY gets it
Starters= NY...cc and lee match up well but thats it

HAHA, this has to be one of the dumbest most biased breakdowns I have ever seen.

Tex over Howard easily? Ha please look at Howards playoff numbers. Thats all I have to say. The most feared hitter in the game besides Pujos
Utley vs. Cano- is not even a question. Thats a joke. Utley will go down as one of the best 2nd baseman ever. Cano I dont think so.
Jeter vs. Rollins- Rollins is an MVP winner. I wouldn't goes as far to say do i even need to explain
A-Rod vs Feliz- Offensively A-rod without a doubt. Defensively I'll take Feliz about as sure handed as they get.
Posada vs. Ruiz- Ruiz has been incredibly clutch this post season and has called great games. What has posada done??? Ruiz wins that one
Swish vs. Werth- Offensively and Defensively Werth is better then Swisher.
Melky vs. Victorino- This one makes me laugh. You have to be out of your mind if you think Melky is on even par with Shane. Shane is better in all facets of the game especially in the field and base running.
Damon vs. Ibanez- Damon was good 10 years ago. How does he have more post season experience when 2 of 3 Philly outfielders won a World Series last year. Garbage comparison.
Bullpen- I dont think its a question NY is more stable and reliable bullpen. Mariano is the best of all time but Lidge has been nothing but perfect so far this post season but edge still goes to NY. I'd like to see Hughes in a pressure situation against Howard though GL.
Starters- I'll go slight edge to NY but Burnett does not scare me one bit as the Phills have seen him a number of times when he was with Florida. CC was tattooed by us last year in the playoffs. Andy and Pedro has to be pretty even. They both are gamers and know how to pitch in pressure situations.

All in all this is a very even matched series. Please try to not choke on yankee cock when you are breaking down the series. That was pathetic

His post may have been a bit biased, but yours is just as, if not more biased. You convenietly leave out important facts when it helps your arguement. When arguing Howard over Tex, you leave out the clear cut advantage Tex has in the field. You mention Howard's great playoff numbers, but then when arguing Rollins and Jeter, you dont mention Jeter's amazing playoff numbers. You simply say well Rollins was an MVP. Nothing worse then someone who calls out another for being biased, but then comes back with about as biased a post as you can have.

Yeah, and the Phillies are much better than the Angels. When you have to start Saunders in an elimination game, you'd better better have some offense-and I don't mean Hunter and Mr. Plate Discipline, Vladdy, hitting in the 3 and 4 holes. And a lot of people were apprehensive about Puentes when the playoffs rolled around, and when he pitched, we saw why. Even more people were apprehensive about Lidge, and when HE pitched, he was money. The rest of the Phillie bullpen has been pretty good, too. Joba the Hutt and that clown who lost Game 5 for the Yankees, not so much.

Ok maybe I was a little biased, I admit. Texiera clearly does have the advantage in the field, he is the best fielding 1st baseman in the leauge but Howard has got increasingly better in the field this year with committing very few errors compared to previous years and is no longer a liability out there. I just can not look pass the presence he brings to the phillies line up. He is the type of player who changes games at any time with one swing of the bat. I'll take Howard and his average fielding over Tex, sorry just what it is. Jetes is Jeter everyone knows what he brings in the playoffs. Mr. November or whatever his nickname is, he is a great clutch performer and I do not take anything away from him. My arugment is that I just think it is funny when people write off a guy who won an MVP a few years back and is the motor that get this team going. He is great in the field, makes things happen on base and when he wants he puts in quality at bats in the playoffs. Correct me if I am wrong but did he not just win a game with a walk off double with 2 outs against the feared Broxton. Not to shabby for clutchness himself. What is so annoying, actually almost laughable about Yankees fans is that they believe they have this series won already. My arugment is what has THIS Yankee team done? THIS collection of players not the 2000 Yankees, the 2009 Yankee team. What have they proven to be prematurely crowned the 2009 WSC. I'm pretty sure that the Philadelphia Phillies have already developed a pedigree of winning in their locker room. This collection of guys have proven they can be the last team standing. Yet they continued to be over looked. I can not wait to watch this series as it involves the two best teams in baseball which is how it should be. It should be an unbelieveable series but I see the Phillies in 7 as Sabathis wears down going 3 times in a series on 3 days rest. I think the 3 man rotation will come to hurt the Yankees in the end against this potent Phillies line up.

that picture is fuckin histerical...the only way philly wins is if Lang is on the yankees...from reading his write-up about the NLCS id have to assume he is on the yankees because he said teams simply dont repeat....so there maybe hope for the phills but the yanks are clearly the better team
