Russ I am going to say this just ONCE to you - BCN's contract renewal had NOTHING at all to do with the dispute over the cancelled bets, or over taking their banner down. The dispute was handled solely to try and get BCN to do the right thing, and honor the bets made by three differnet Rx. posters. We were very careful to give them plenty of time to make a decision before anything was announced on this forum. Personally I do not care if you like or believe it or not, but our moderators have no idea when, or if any contracts for our advertiser expire. The decision to take the banner down would have been the same contract or no contract. What BCN did was plain wrong and you know it. Go spin it at your place any way you want, but the truth is they are afraid to honor wagers made in good faith by honest post up players.

Wilhelm. The contract expired yesterday. They told you three weeks ago they were not renewing.
By lying like this you are just making it worse.
The reason BCN's banners are not here is because there contract was up and they did not want to renew. It is that simple. I have the frigging emails.

Jay I got an emaill from a marketing person handling the Millenium marketing saying that they were the same company and could I rotate other banners. I said no. I think it is beoming obvious that they are one in the same with perhaps a different management team. I rarely hear complaints about Millenium. But then again I rarely hear them about BoS anymore.
Major, I do not appreciate being called a liar especially by somone who doesn't know me. No one told me anything three weeks, or even three days ago about the status of BCN's contract. Whatever email you have to proove differently feel free to disclose, which of course is impossible because there are no such emails to me.

I have no question that at the time you made your post, you were unaware of the fact the the deal had not been renewed. However, I am fairly certain you do now. And if you dont maybe you should call the owner and ask.
So lets set the record straight and put all this behind us so we can get the people their bets and move on.

Major...What does Wil or any Mod here knowing or not knowing they were not going to renew have to do with BCN stiffing these guys on there bets. Are you saying if they were renewing there ad space they would have honored the bets?

He pulled it and now finds out they weren't renewing. Who cares? Doesn't change the validity of the original decision if that is the case.
Major, sure I know NOW that the contract was not renewed, I am not denying that at all, the point is that had nothing to do with me asking for, and getting permission to take down the banner solely becasue of BCN's refusal to do the right thing in this Oakland A's futures dispute. Making insuations that The Rx. acted differently in this dispute becase the BCN contract expired yesterday is wrong no matter how much you insist differently. I am not trying to impair your negotians with BCN in behalf of the players in any way, but I will not let you try to bully myself or any other moderator here into saying something that is not true. Fishhead acted completely in good faith during this whole dispute, when BCN made their decision to keep the bets cancelled, the decision was made by the Rx. to remove the banner, any contract renewal business was purely coincidental, and not a factor in the negotiations, or events resulting from them.
