Hitman26, I like your response. I will assume you are a bonus whore and it pains you to read my stay away from shit book posts. Understandable. When are you going to ask me the will the NYY make the playoffs question again? I know you value my opinions.

Thanks Chuck but when you assume you make an ass out of "U" and "me". I just love how you say the same things over and over again:

1. BOS, Mill, and Jag (all under that umbrella) are scammers and crooks.
2. Royal is owned by a crook.
3. Jake is the scum of the earth.
4. WSEX is the greatest thing since sliced bread (even though they have a nickel limit on NLF, NBA, and MLB totals while books like Pinny have 25k limits).
5. There is no way in hell that the Yankees will make the playoffs this year (although you really haven't been posting about this since they got hot).
6. You flame the hell out of posters who are having bad seasons posting their picks.
7. You spew 99% criticism and hatred about the same things over and over again.

Now I'm not disputing points 1-3 but the other 4 is what I take issue with. We get the picture about points 1-3 you don't have to post about it for the 1600th time.

I know that it makes you feel better about yourself to name call and bring others down with your words and god bless you for it. I think that shows what a great human being you are. I never said anything negative about you but you come out with this attack on me and call me a bonus whore. All I did was try to engage you in some friendly banter but you are soooooo sensitve and defensive. I won't make that mistake again Chucky.

In the words of the head moderator here at the RX I have to say:
Have a nice life

Give it a rest Hitman26. I'll tell you what, you keep bonus whoring into every bonus giving book, and I'll keep doing what I do, which is to warn people about the shit books of the industry. Fair enough?

Nothing wrong with BOS in their current state, that is for sure. For those old timers that might be in the know about what happened many years ago, that might be a different story. I have only been in the industry 4 years and have has an account at BOS most of that time and they have been unbelievably great and have lots of jack.

What is wrong with bonus whoring if one follows all the rules and regulations put forth by a particular sportsbook?

For example, a book offers a 20% cash bonus with a 4x rollover and ones sends in money to receive the maximum bonus, plays through the 4x rollover rollover requirement, and withdraws his or hers money after deciding this book is not for them.

I did get my withdrawal in a timely manner but that talking to 3 different people I hope they changed that part..as I did not like it at all...

Alot of things have changed since the scamming that went on at NASA. Betonsports is now publicly traded. They would have a hard time pulling some of the scams they have pulled off in the past these days. Not saying they are risk free, but even the BOS worst critics have to admit they have been doing much better the last 3 or 4 years.

From what I understand, they have same day Neteller now. They also changed the foolish rule they once had where you could not withdrawl more from neteller than you deposited.

Have these guys made good on the 500K they stole a few years back?

Are we supposed to look the other way just because time has passed?

Jay no one is asking anyone to look the other way, that well documented case, no matter how notorious, has no real bearing on today's average player. Do you honestly think BOS is going to end up in any kind of similar situation with anyone who decides to post up with them because of an ad at this site?

The BW case has been discussed ad nauseam, and quite frankly I am not ready to re-try it here. I do appreciate your concern, and will make sure Rx. managment is aware of this thread.

Thanks, wilheim

Can we ask them to not mail anything to our house if we belong to Rx.com???

I dont have an account with them yet and the main reason is frustration over the dozens of mailers I get from these guys. They must buy lots of address lists.

I would post up with them, they have lots of prop wagers for example, if they stopped mailing blindly.

Wilheim,

Please just say no to the first question and yes to the second if that is your answer.

Don't make it sound like there were extenuating circumstances to the original matter?

Can we expect to see SBG next week as a Silver sponsor? I hear there is a new place starting up soon called "Tej's place." Are they ok too since it everything was in the past and people can change?

Maybe people can change but the first stop is too make good in your past, something they have not done.

There's an old expression, "Those who cannot learn from history are doomed to repeat it." Take that to the bank.

I played with BOS for 2 years with no problems, but I have too have to express my disappointment with the RX for taking them on as a sponsor. The fact that they have stiffed people in the past is an automatic reason for nobody to play there. This industry is all about trust. If you have stiffed anyone for 1 dollar, you are not trustworthy, and are flat-out a bad person. They are probably not going to stiff any "average" players, but what if an "average" player gets lucky and hits a $50 12-teamer? They are at risk. Too many books out there that have immaculate payment records to mess around with a book like BOS. That was the consensus around here until this beauty of a stunt pulled by RX management.

There is plenty wrong with bonus whoring. There is littlle difference between that and having a scam book put their ad up here. One cant complain against one with out having serious issues with the other. At least the scam books are paying the Rx to have their banner up here.

And it really does not matter whether one follows the books rules or not, if a bonus whore touts a scam book on here and sends people to it and they lose their money, what difference do the books make?

do bonus whores even pay a dime to those who fall victim to their antics?

One even wonders, why should a book even bother paying for a banner when all they have to do is send their lackeys into the forums to post lies and b/s about the book when it turns out that bonus whores are really in it to make a buck for themselves all the while pretending to be genuine gamblers or posters!!!!

Bonus whores and the books they tout are a scourge as bad as the scam books that have their banners up on here. (Only difference is RX makes money from one of the two)

Jay C, the mods here have too get paid too support there degenerate gambling habits so they WILL never knock one of the PAYING advertising sponsors. They may get fired and have too get a job. As long as knowledgable posters keep NEWBIES abreast of past situations books like BOS and other POS books then these books will always have real WATCHDOGS( by this I mean posters who know MUCH more than any of these mods know) making sure that they don't get unsuspecting players too deposit with them.

Drunk I respect alot of your posts but your OFF in this one a bit..I am not told what to say or what not to say ..not once ever have I been told that or I would not be a mod here ...

I have no problem saying I am shocked by betonsports coming to the RX....but im just a mod for the forum part.. ..The MODS do not have a say in any book coming to the RX...

..ALL the mods DO is try to keep the forums clean ...run a few contests and make the posters feel welcome , I like to think I make a difference there as I respect a ton of the posters here and enjoy posting with them...

From the 'recommended sportsbooks' page:

The Following Offshore Sportsbooks & Casinos have been deemed "PREFERRED" by The Prescription. PREFERRED Casinos and Sportsbooks offer a intermediary remedy to resolve disputes. The Companies listed below have agreed to let TheRx.com acts as a liaison when disputes arise. If they do NOT agree to this, they can NOT be listed here.

Is marty going to be the liaison? Dante, don't you think its unfair that, as you said, "The MODS do not have a say in any book coming to the RX..." yet you guys are the ones that are going to get stuck with the bullshit when stiff sponsors initiate problems?
