My Kids Love Bonds But He Drives Me Up A Fukking Wall Every Time He Stands In The Batters Box To Admire A Long Single That He Should Have Gotten To Second Base On, Or A Double That If He Hustled Would Be A Triple, Or Like Last Night A Triple That For Any Other Player In The League Would Have Been A Homerun.

Is this a joke? Bonds lazy? he is probably half asleep from dominating the game to such a level he is bored...not too mention the whole league is afraid to pitch to him...

Bonds is still a piece of *CENSOR**CENSOR**CENSOR**CENSOR*. I give him no credit for having God-given talent. Hustle, and quit talking about how hard it is for a human being to be on his feet 3 hours a day for such low pay.

No Its Not A Joke. Its Very Sad Actually. Bonds Is An Excellent Player And Would Be So Much Better If He Hustled Out Of The Batters Box After He Hits The Ball Rather Than Stand And Admire The Fact That He Hit The Ball. What He Did Last Night Was Nothing New For Him. To Be Totally Honest I Would Fine Him Or Dock Him A Months Pay If I Were The Giants Gm.

I agree! Bonds is a piece of $hit. He would rather not swing at a pitch off the corner and take another walk than to reach out and try to score the runner from third. Most selfish player ever IMO.

never legs it out for first either. saw in red sox game if he just actually ran would have been safe. treats playing outfield like "cool i have something to do" doesnt hustle to make good plays. defensivley, plays the position like an idiot.

has a great stroke and crowds the plate. good friends with knowlegable sports supplement guys. thats the scouting report on bonds.

you will never see bonds get jammed inside. great supplements and oodles of practice. hey barry, get a life.

God these Bonds threads are great. Like Barry is the only guy in the league that stands in the box watching his ball go out, sorry I think Sosa wrote the book on that. If I fvcking scrambled a baseball like they do I would sit back & watch as well. It's so bad we flame him for taking walks LOL, My god what is he suppose to do?

Bonds is #2 alltime, he is 40 yrs old lets not forget...I could list Bonds many accomplishments but it would take a week and a half...Bonds stole 500+bases, and has won 9 Gold Gloves, I think at some point he was hustling,lol...I cannot believe how bad a rap he gets from some people...

Journeyman There Is No Denying Bonds Is Old For A Baseball Player And Has Accomplished Lots Over The Years. Fact Remains He Should Hustle On Every Play. Why Does The Fact That He Has Hit A Lot Of Home Runs Or Stolen A Lot Of Bases Give Him License Or Entitlement To Act Like A Jackass?

It must take you a long time to write a post or a reply when you capitalize the first letter of each word. Don't mean to be mean, but it's unusual to say the least.

As for Bonds, I think he should run upon hitting the ball. What are his teamates supposed to think? They've got a front-row seat watching him get thrown out at first when he could have made it. Very bad for morale in my opinion, especially with the race they're in to get to the playoffs.

Just for one week, I'd like to see Bonds work in a steel mill or coal mine for 30 grand a year. Maybe then he would think about how hard it is for him to be on his feet all day. Cause those pitchers just keep walking him, ya know? It cuts down on his rest time in the dugout, and it's a damn hard life. You have no idea.

Journey, Barry's carrer has been brilliant. of course. but it's this modern day version of barry that I have a hard time with.

I dont understand Journeyman, how you can be so involved with fitness and the gym scene but you always seem to turn your back to the technology of sports medicine. as if it doesnt exist, when it is just as prevelant for a UPS driver in his spare time as it is for an MLB player chasing records.

look at ronnie coleman. that guy has the best of the best, he works full time as a cop. but miraculously, he is able to win mr.universe's in his spare time. he's got the best. he's more cut and he's stronger he doesnt get tumers. etc etc. I am just supposed to believe this is genetics and hard work?!

same deal with bonds. he is old as hell. he knows things about being at the plate no one else does. ok, kudos for that, but that type of bat speed and power for that age, then i see a guy who doesnt run for first and plays D like a nimrod what am i left to believe.

not picking on you either journey, bonds is a great child hood memory for me. but what he is doing now, i just cant look at it with a sincere ammount of amazement. i know what youre saying and it makes me gaga also. but the modern day version of barry just seems so artificial to me.

some of you are really clueless.
I guess Bonds should be like Griffey running like an idiot and diving all over the place and getting hurt like Jr does every year.
Bonds knows his body. He knows when to run and when not to.

Red007 All I Wrote Is That Bonds Should Run At Full Speed Upon Putting The Ball Into Play. Thats It, Nothing About Unnecessarily Subjecting Himself To Injury! That Should Be Written Into His Next Contract Should He Sign Another One. Or Else He Should Be Docked A Months Pay For Each Instance.

When I think of Bonds, I think of the time he was playing in the outfield, Todd Hundley hits a shot towards left field and Bonds just puts his head down and doesn't move because he knows its a homer.

The ball dropped right behind Bonds for a double.

He still is putting up one of the most amazing years ever. Look at his runs to ab's because of all the walks. It's sick.

Yes Bonds Is A Great Player. He Deserves To Be A First-ballot Hall Of Famer And Deserves All Of The All-star Game Appearances And Other Accolades. No Doubt. The Arrogant Motherfukker Would Have So Much More To Pat Himself On The Back Over If He Took The Game More Seriously. Great Player, Asswipe Of A Person!

I agree Barry should hustle and be a little more like Pete Rose. Ever occur to you guys Barry is bored? Ever occur to you guys Barry could really give a *CENSOR**CENSOR**CENSOR**CENSOR* what a bunch of over the hill holier then thou sports fans like us think? Results! thats all his critics and teamates need to worry about. Barry is not the first hall of famer to be an arrogant prick but who gives a *CENSOR**CENSOR**CENSOR**CENSOR*.

whether you wanna call it lack of hustle or laziness or cockyness or whatever, there is no excuse for standing at the plate watching what you think is a home run hit the wall and end up with a single when you should have had a double. i also remember many times in the past watching bonds not even move in the outfield when a ball was hit deep to left. a few times the ball hit the wall and was catchable.

he is an arrogant, angry ass with more talent than just about anyone who ever played the game. just seems like an unhappy person. its odd...most talented guy in the game, more money than he can spend and he acts like a guy living in a slum with no job and a bad case of scurvey.
