Either way, i think the new approach of caution with these matters is prudent and you are to be applauded for your efforts now.

Give me a break !

If it was a "normal" book, you might say that this was a "prudent move".

But given the fanfare and accolades from the Rx that trumpeted the arrival of BetPanam, this is a downright embarrassment to this site, that it had to come to this.

this is why you don't pay taxes on your sports winnings. because you never know when your money will be gone.

Yeah it's embarassing for the site. But don't blame the site for sending your money there.

This can get really ugly....

People should probably bring their own beers to the Superbowl party.

Maybe, but another learning experience for all of us. As long as we try and prevent the same mistakes over.

I still have faith that it will all work out.

I am hoping everything works out fine. But learn a lesson from this.

Regulation and Central America should never be used in the same sentence.

Isn't Intuition Bet guaranteeing the post-up funds ?

If not, maybe he will at least buy the beer.

2 questions.. when will they cancel the party? or atleast their involvement? 2nd- the flex card..it is a seperate entity from panam,or am i wrong? so if panam goes belly up does the card still work? I have found other uses for it in addition to recieving payouts from them.

This is an excellent question, which the powers that be should attempt to get answered by PanAm.

I have a balance of 4k there so I'm in it just like everyone else, but I'm not about to bash the Rx for supporting or promoting them. Why? Because people make mistakes. And to come out in the open and admit it after the fact is a big move and I think the Shrink is to be applauded for that. We can't expect perfection. All we can expect is openness and proper measures and countermeasures, and we have gotten all that in this case.

If some of you out there are so bitter that you can't forgive an honest mistake here and there then you have my sincere pity. Your future looks bleak indeed.

Noone's blaming The Rx for supporting or promoting PanAm, and I'm certainly not blaming The Rx for my decision to send them money.

But what this site did for PanAm was unlike the support/promotion that any other advertiser received. As another poster said (SunDevil, I believe), The Rx trumpeted their arrival like they were the 2nd Coming of Christ. If this site was confident enough to talk that kind of talk, they sure as hell should have been certain that PanAm could walk the walk.
