Thais are very touchy about this so be very careful if you say anything
about the royal institution. Lest it be taken the wrong way, it may be
better not to say anything at all, since the man is highly reverenced
by all in the kingdom. At least as far as outward appearances are
concerned.

Are you talking hotel rooms near NEP in BKK? I think the ladies there
give the best haircuts, and they're only 100B which is $3. In Canada
i pay 12-25 depending on where i go. In many bars there a drink is
60-120B, $2-4. Here it was like 6 about 5 years ago. Probably more
now due to inflation.
