Low class TGs {Thai Girls} are probably more available, as well as
those in their late 20's/early 30's who are considered over the hill
to Thai men. If you're white, speak some Thai, well educated and

Probably about as safe as the USA. Stay clear of elephants
in the streets. They don't warn you when they're backing up.
Be wary of motor bikes driving on the sidewalks behind you.

After 30 days you need to take a bus to the border of Cambodia to get it renewed. They handle it for you while you wait inside a casino.

If you dont get it handled the fee is 600 BAHT a day with a max penalty of 20000 BAHT for overstaying. Can't leave the country unless you get that handled.

You are only allowed 3 visa runs per year, so that is a total of 90 days max you can stay...If you are over 50(which I am) you can get a senior visa which allows you to stay all year around and you only have to check in every 90 days...you must have a bank account to show them and a permanent address...very easy to get....(<)<

I was under the assumption that if you overstay, you can pay the fine and then you can still come back to Thailand later on? Is this wrong?

I got here 36 days ago or so and I still have yet to get my Visa extension. What would you recommend?

Life is good over here for me...golf is inexpensive compared to the states and everything is cheaper over here because labor is inexpensive...average pay for a Thai person over here is 275 baht a day...

I was told by a few sources actually that if you pay the fine when you leave that you will be allowed back into the country... wtf

They will charge you around 500 baht per day over the 30 days...you will be allowed back in, but don't let them catch you before you check in...you will have a problem..
