Gentlemen, there are guys that look like badasses on every street corner but can they really fight? They may be able to deliver a bunch but more importantly can they take one?
In my opinion he can't take one and more important he has no ground game. This is not a backwoods arena where there is no knees and you don't fight on the ground. The UFC is almost anything goes and there are fighters that will tear him up that don't even look that tough.

This fight was a joke... Thompson is remembered as a recipiant of some of the best knockouts in Pride history. Both he and Kimbo were gassing after the first round... Any top ten heavyweight would destroy Kimbo... Gonzaga, Cro Cop, Tim Sylvia, Frank Mir, etc...

I would not give MMA a bad rap over this fight. There are plenty of great fighters in the sport. Kimbo was not one of them.
