Arizona/Oakland

Is there a more miserable ball club than the D'backs? Their pitcher was brilliant last night (Gonzales). He play his ass off. If hit the ball...he ran the bases..he scored both their runs. Talk about no support...D'backs had runners in scoring position almost every inning and somehow managed not being home the run. They even had a lead off triple...they got first two runners on in one inning...they had runners on third with less than 2 outs and the best they could do is get one run on a balk with the pitcher doing the scoring.

Saarloos for Oakland has pitched a few lately. Oakland gutted out a win in San Diego and they are fighting to stay in the hunt.

I have opinions on a few other games of course but don't want post that cause not recommending anybody play more than one game for serious money.

bunch of them, looks like.

Detroit, Seattle, Yankees,Tampa Bay and and Oakland?

G'night, Alamo and thanks.

There are more Geeze but you did dig out four that I really like which is all of the above minus the Yankees. Tampa Bay is a very live dog and can't see Detroit losing to Kip Wells who is one more bad start away from being sent down to AA. I hate watching Moyer pitch for Seattle but Fog is a blow out waiting to happen. If I was a gambler I would find some why to work with those games. :smoking:

Don't look now Geeze but Detoit is pounding Pitt, Tampa on top by 3, Yankees hanging on by one run.

Looks like I am going to lose one tonight. It's been a long winning streak. Had not lost a game in nine days. I don't like home teams on their first game back from a long road trip as is the case with Oakland and in Arizona's case getting away from home after embarrasing themselves on their long and miserable homestand did them some good. I loved Detroit as stated earlier but shied away due to the high price. My first choise was T.B. I couldn't understand why Washington was such a big favorite. I thought that somebody in Vegas must know something I don't, like half of the Devil Rays were suffering from stomach flew or something.

Good job Geeze and Voice of Reasoning....hope you guys made some money. Tomorrow is another day.

Looks as if the first couple nights have done me good. I would like to say to Alamo (tough loss buddy good thing for my CWS n TOR plays or I wouldve gotten wiped cause i pushed with the Detroit game laying the -1RL) and Geeze nice job in selecting games and good luck today as always.

My two cents:

Yanks(-196):Mets are still reeling and this game doesnt indicate otherwise. Randy vs Mets they dont hit lefties... I like it enough said. (-1RL)

LAD(+107):Like how the Dodgers are playing as of late. Escobar is always giving away his share of donations. Hendrickson is no ace so i understand if you want to stay away.

Col(+115):Rockies enjoying success and with Kim whos been hot as of late on the mound... this seems like a worthy game looking into.

Det(-197): Streak continues question is will you pull the trigger with that juice or lay -1RL (I sure will)...

Other games that could have a good looking into: Tampa, Texas (dont like betting them neither does anyone), Minnesota

It's the Dodgers +105

Dodgers are best hitting team in NL and LAA seem to play tight at home.

Honorable mention goes to Tigers who are very chalky again. No record at all on Pitt pitcher which is scaring me off that game. Seen many times where a guy gets called up or is given his first start and he pitches the game of his life.

Tampa Bay is a better club than the Washington.

Minnesota is red hot but Silva is their worse starter and is capable of pitching a stinker where as Brewers have their best guy on the mound.

Lots of other games of course but it's the Dodgers today....Go Blue!!!!!!!!

I agree with the Minnesota take completely Capuano is more than capable of outpitching Silva that alone makes it a no play. I had it as honorable mention for that very reason.

I agree with the Dodgers all the way it stood out above all :toast: ...making small plays on Tampa and "Yanks"

dodgers do stand out--got a friend who comes up with good runline plays and they are his best today. available on the alternate runline, but probably not with your local bookie.

Sometimes you pick the right team and you still lose. Dodgers down 5-0 as I type. Maybe they come back but LAA bullpen is pretty good..not going to hold my breath.

Tigers, D'Rays and Twins were my other possible plays today. I know Tigers are chalky but other two are not. If your in the mood to gamble............

There were 8 candidates for a play today and 6 of them lost. It could be an anomoly...shit does happen after all. Going to take the rest of the week off and will resume posting the game of the day shortly after the all star break.

Meanwhile anybody wanting to post a game please do so and I will help break the game down if it is a game that falls within the system...er...i mean the method...er...I mean...well you know what I mean.

I have been red hot for almost 3 weeks and have lost two in a row. I'd rather take a break and let the stars line up for me again rather than force plays and loose money for me and you.

My friend I understand the burden you must feel just know that no one here feels that you have let us down. When you get back I know you will come back like all pros do....Now on with the show...it shall never die.....

CWS(-115):Zambrano vs Buehrle good matchup...why I like it Buerhle is a lefty, Cubs bullpen, and the south side boys are seeing the ball with consistency....

The other two games Im looking at are Minnesota and Toronto...Im betting one of them I would like to see what Alamo has to say...

Just taking a break from giving out plays but I am not going into the basement. I'll get on those games in the morning and break them down for you as best as I can.

After yesterdays epic wipe out there are only three games that fit the criteria today and those would be Whitesox, Twins, Blue Jays.

Blue Jays pitching opponent is a guy named Flutz. Just hate to play against a pitcher with no record. As I have pointed out before I have seen many instances where a guy gets called up or gets his first start and he pitches his ass off. Happened yesterday in the Detroit game.

Is Santana pitching for the Twins? No but he might as well be when you look at the price. With the way the Twins are playing, especially at home and with Liriano pitching you can bet the house, wife and kids on the Twins but bullpens lose games and the other pitcher might pitch his ass off and keep the game close, besides if I were to win I don't need another home and definately don't need another wife and set of kids. Price of the game almost makes it worthless for a parlay.

That leaves the Whitesox. Whitesox are the better team...we all know that but Cubs have the better starting pitcher who is capable of throwing a gem. I have other criteria for picking the game but on of them is that the team I am backing has to have the starting pitching edge, no matter how small that edge might be and that's not the case in this game.

If anybody else has any ideas I am all ears (eyes).

I agree with you assessment these games all fit the criteria only thing is none of them really stand out for one reason or another. Zambrano is the Cubs best pitcher which makes that game hard to play. The other two have big juices and your first start theory has merit. I looked around trying to find a game to play and Tigers seem to be the only team I like for todays game...

Det(-182):Team is upset after a 9-2 loss with Bonderman on the mound...Miner is hot....The juice is high but what do you expect its Tigers vs Pirates..

Evaluate my friend...

Keep an eye on the Arizona D'backs. Arizona was red on in the month of May. They were outstanding on the road and were just scoring runs left and right. Then they went home and one of their pitchers got busted by the Feds for steriods and apparently was squeeling like a stuck pig.

The team went into a total month long slump. To make matters worse Interleague play started and as we know now, the AL is the much better league and most of the NL has gotten it's ass kicked.

Recently the D'backs have been getting some good starting pitching and it has done them a world of good to get back out on the road as you can see by their two wins over Oakland. Look for them to start playing inspired baseball when they start seeing the Phillies, Pirates, Reds etc.
