i personally count all Bonus Plays cuz he still puts a gurantee on the play......i hate when cappers dont count the Bonus Plays...its still a play...free or not....if u dont pay for his picks all u get is Bonus Play so it should still be good.
I personally think ness and spietzer and ben burns and big all all blow cuz there Bonus Plays lose some day and the paid plays lose others, so its a guessin game with those guys.

Prediction: Houston Astros
Reason: I'm laying the price with the Astros on Wednesday. We have a serious pitching mismatch in this one and the line, although in the 1.50s at the time of this writing is too low. Kip Wells showed signs of coming around, but that short-lived run ended with a thud on August 24. Wells owns a 6.17 road ERA this season and a 5.34 ERA in 16 career starts against the Astros. The Cards are 2-10 in his last 12 road starts, including a thumping at Minute Maid in a Kip Wells' start on June 2. Roy Oswalt makes his first start in 11 days. He's been spectacular at home this season and owns solid marks against the Redbirds. He'll face a Cardinal team that until recently, was horrible in road night games against righties. With Oswalt on the hill, I believe the Cards will revert to previous form. I'm laying the price with Houston on Wednesday. Thanks! GL! Scott.

At 4:35pm our selection is on the Los Angeles Angels and Seattle Mariners 'under' the total. The combined age of tonight's starters in this game, Seattle righthander Felix Hernandez and Los Angeles righthander Jered Weaver, is about the same as at least a couple of veteran starters who are still actively pitching in the Majors. They may be young, but these two aces bring a whole slew of talent to the mound when they pitch. Not that their seasons have been perfect by any stretch. Both of these youngsters have had up and down seasons, but both seem to be "up" right now. Although normally younger starters tend to tire towards the end of a full season, both Hernandez and Weaver seem to be hitting their stride right now. Perhaps it's because their two teams are locked in a pennant race in the AL West. If so, then they should both be extra-pumped for this afternoon affair. Hernandez in particular has been very effective lately as the Mariners have won all of his last six starts in which he has gone 4-0. And Weaver has a similar track record with the Angels having won five of his last six and he is very effective in day games this season, going 3-2 with a 2.11 ERA in those. The under has been dominant in both of these teams' recent games, with a 4-1 record for Seattle in its last five overall, and a 4-2 record in the Angels last six. Take the 'under'.

Do the Mariners have anything left this afternoon? Why not? The Angels are still just 34-34 on the road and Seattle remains one of MLB's best home teams (41-26). As for the starting pitchers today, the edge goes to Seattle. Jered Weaver has not been performed up to his rookie year standards (11-2, 2.56 ERA) for the Angels, going 9-6 with a 3.96 ERA. His road ERA (4.48) is a full run higher than his home ERA (3.48) and in two starts this year versus Seattle, he's been hit hard. The second-year pitcher has allowed 21 hits and 11 ERs in just 10 2-3 innings, for a 9.28 ERA. Meanwhile, Seattle will send its ace, Felix Hernandez. The Mariners are 8-2 in his last 10 starts and are 10-3 in his 13 home starts in '07. Seattle avoids the home sweep here and is my 15* Getaway Day Game of the Week.

Roy Halladay hasn't always dominated the A's in his career, but this is the weakest situation he has probably ever seen them in. Oakland averages just 3.3 RPG in home day games against righties. And, Halladay has been outstanding under the sun. In six day starts this season, the righthander owns a 2.38 ERA, 1.04 WHIP, and .208 BAA. Meanwhile, the Jays are smacking lefties in road day games for over 8 RPG! Look for Toronto to get the job done behind a strong effort from Halladay. The Jays are my Afternoon Beatdown. Thanks! GL! The Mariners are a healthy 10-5 and average over 5 RPG in home day tilts against righthanders. Today, they'll take on Jered Weaver, a righty that's been seriously bounced around in his last two road starts, including a whipping at the hands of Seattle at Safeco. Weaver is not as dominant as he was last season. Teams have gotten their looks at him, and after seeing him twice in person this summer, I've noticed his time between pitches has grown way too long. The righty is allowing a .292 BAA away from home and in three career starts at Safeco, he's allowed 12 earned runs and 30 base runners in just 17 2/3 IP! That's an incredibly weak 6.11 ERA & 1.70 WHIP to go along with a .329 BAA! Felix Hernandez counters. The Ms are 16-7 in his 23 outings, including six straight wins. The righty owns a 3.60 ERA during the run along with a 1.20 WHIP. The Angels are scoring an average of just 3.5 RPG in road day games against righties.
