Real Tough day. I honestly didnt see this coming. I'm gonna start flat betting these chases, since they are hitting at a decent rate.

I dont understand why you would do that. Yes, MJ's picks are hitting at a nice rate, but the two game chase is hitting off the charts. You will not make as much profit!

I dont know if you just started tailing but stick with it. I have been tailing since day one and this system/chase whatever the hell you want to call it is AWESOME :toast:

A crappy night...that's how it goes some time.

We can still make a profit on this set however....or we could possibly have a 8 unit loss...or something not that bad in between.

Good luck tonight...we need it. :103631605

Philly @ Chicago Cubs ML -104 GM 2 for 2 units

Pittsburgh @ Colorado -1.5 -125 GM 2 for (risk?) 2 units :think2:

The Colorado match up brings up a new issue...what do we do when GM 2 is > -115 which is our cut off?

Thoughts?

I'm thinking we could adjust the risk amount to 2 units keeping the system risk levels the same, and keeping some symmetry to the record.

Or we could just flat out cancel them and take the game 1 loss.

I'm leaning toward the first option...maybe somebody else has a better idea?

I went ahead and played it with the local at -20 but there is not enough difference in the current line and the cut off (-15) to make a huge difference. Also this situation doesn't come up very often so I would go ahead and play it (-1.5) and count it in your running total. Good Luck and thanks

Colorado Rockies -1.5 -115(pinnacle)

Good to know...but I use Betjam odds at the time of my posting for record keeping.

Late in the season I suspect the -115 cut off is going to be more of an issue for us.

I'm sticking with the chase....Until this system cools off a bit I will chance it. It has been too good to me and I have the units to burn (not that I want to).

If I just jumped aboard though, I may feel differently

GL and thanks MJ!

quick question mj, in the few system plays with minus odds are you playing to win the number of units or are you risking the listed number of units? not just higher than the -115 cutoff, but also the cubs play today, for instance

You can play it however you want to...but for record keeping here I have kept it as simple as possible for myself, by risking the units(plus whatever juice).

These types of posts always confuse the hell out of the forum...we'll see what happens.

I know what I mean.

I'm playing it safe. I'm gonna flat bet/play to win one unit. I just want to protect the profit i gained from this system incase this starts to go downhilll. Its a possible -8 unit loss tonight gotta be smart about this. Good Luck

I think the correct chase amount would be to risk 2.3 units on Colorado tonight if you can't get it -115 or better. GL.

Correct...for ease of posting I post it as 1 unit and 2 units so I don't have to fiddle around with the juice each time...but that is how I am scoring it.

I think people are getting too anal about some of this stuff...there is no right or wrong way yet.

mj, i think what the guy's saying is that since the cutoff is -115, when a gm2 play is > -115, risk UP TO that amount. So if you're getting the cubs today at -125, then risk 2.3 to win 1.84. That would be one way to play your system when the -115 or less criteria doesn't meet on a gm2 chase.

I'm surprised the Phillies would be a play against since they're away record is 33-19 as of today. The Cubs actually have a similar record, seems to go against the BEST home team vs the WORST away team theory. I think the Giants hosting the Dodgers last week was a similar situation. Maybe this has been covered before, I haven't read back any pages.

You need to do some reading...this has been covered.

2-2 on this last set -3.83 units.

It could have been much worse...thankfully Colorado got the split for us tonight.

I think we are doing fine despite the last two series losing close to 6 units.

Based on another Run Line system that I follow...I still think we can have success well into September...but we won't really know until we run it.

Overall series 38-8 +24.46 Units

I'm not sure yet...just eyeballing the Thursday starts it doesn't look too promising but I can't really see all the stats until Thursday morning.

I'll post the new starts...or communicate if there aren't any.
